Thank god I'm a multishipper and I can feed my audience with a lot more content.

My celebration fanart for Twitter. Practically the last one that I've posted over there before deleting the app.

Cuz sigh... I genuinely need a break from it.

Why?

1.) I will become stupid eventually, because consuming this... toxicity with the mindset "Oh it's not affecting me" when it fucking does is not the path I want to choose for myself. After years and years on this app I've started seeing patterns: I've become very aggressive. I've started taking things personally. I've started expressing my thoughts more often, without thinking things through, and many people have called me out on it. I'm simply ashamed and regret that I behaved that way. I'm sorry.

2.) My DMs are overflowing with violence and abuse towards people and animals. No matter how much I block them, they come from other accounts and continue to do what they do. I thought I could handle it. I thought that every other person on Twitter goes through this and that I could do the same. No, I couldn't. The situation started back when the second season of Hazbin Hotel came out, and it got worse after Glitch released the trailer for the TADC finale, because I often spoke out about it and apparently attracted the attention of people from UTTP, although, to put it bluntly, I'm just a speck in this huge fandom, and I don't know why I got caught in the crossfire. Well apparently for my mouth, which I couldn't shut up in time.

The "last straw" was two days ago when one of them decided to bring this shit in my comment section as well, spamming with the one and only massage, related to a TADC controversy that is still going on. I was so pissed of that I've made a post about it, just telling them to get fucked, even though I knew that it will do absolutely nothing.

3.) THIS CONTROVERSY ITSELF and the way I've lost too many friends after seeing their true colors.

In short, yeah, I'm gonna stay here. On Tumblr, on Tik Tok, on BlueSky and on Instagram. For my own sanity, because it's too much.

I said I wanted to stay on the good side of the internet, only to then cross over to its bad side myself and let it get the better of me.
