Turns out Tenna’s not as easy to manipulate (too silly).

Part one

Giggling because this AU is still so unfair to spamton. Tenna gets turned into a giant sexy robot and spamton has to be a tiny fuckass puppet rat thing….smh…

I see so many people do puppetfication for Spamton (and I’ve even drawn it myself here and there), but I don’t think I’ve seen a swap au where something like that happens to Tenna, so here’s a swap scenario for No Strings Attached (No Cords Attached?).

As for the general idea of the transformation, the head is part of a mascot costume from their show. He either wears a Big Bird style full-body puppet/mascot costume or he just wears the head and gloves to greet kids and fans, and in this comic, it’s the latter he wears.

I don’t thing the mascot TV head was ever a working TV or had any super special functions; I used what I’ve seen cosplayers use for their Tenna costumes (magnets) for attaching his expressions, so I think that’s probably what they used for their show. It’s live TV and they work with kids, so costumes are bound to get dirty or ruined, hence the simple costuming. The full-body costume is probably more detailed and expensive and that would be for more scripted segments or prerecorded shows when they have the luxury of time for the puppetry.

All that being said, in this transformation, the TV head does indeed become a functional TV screen and face, bringing the character to life upon the man who plays him. As for his body, it transformed as he got really big, but he’s so dressed up that you can’t see it. His skin hardened and shifted into a metallic purple to match the box of his TV head, and his joints formed separately alongside the slick metal plating that had become of his skin. Just the same, his veins peek through his new hard exterior as colorful wires.
