âSeems like especially here the unusual things are most likely to be the possibility.â Lydia gave her a minute smile. Werewolves were one thing, but being sent to a place unknowingly or having people from other times come to this place was a whole other level. âBeacon Hills, California. But we are in neither, weâre in New York City.â
âoh! i know quite a few places like that.â alice said. wonderland. the looking glass lands. ânew york! we certainly are very far away. how am i going to get back home?â alice said crossing her arms.

âI donât really think soâ Isabelle turned around to watch the young girl. No, they werenât in a dream, that was for sure but this girl looks like someone from a dream, she must to admit. It was odd, but a bit interesting at the same time âWhy you are thinking that?â
âbecause iâm not in the same place i was yesterday. itâs almost like i just appeared here. i donât recall falling asleep, and thatâs what usually happens with dreams.â she said, looking around. âalso, everything seems so out of place here.â
beaconslittlebanshee:
âWell⌠itâs realitiy. Maybe you just traveled through space and ended here, happens to a lot of people before, even if it sounds weird.â Lydia smiled apologetic, shrugging. âI have no idea how I got here either. Where are you from originally?â
âhuh? well thatâs a possibility.â it made no logical sense, but then again, nothing in her life made logical sense. âiâm from england. you?â
ofpianoiisms:
â I suppose they can be, yea. â He responded, rather confused by this entire conversation. What could dreams possibly have to do with where the heck they were? Theyâd know if the were dreaming, right? â Ladies can wear pants, thereâs nothing really strange about that.. Iâve seen plenty walking the roads in pants. â
âi used to have scary dreams a lot. they almost felt real.â sometimes she even liked to think they were. âback at home they couldnât. at least iâve never seen one.â
hecateisms:
âwere they? fascinating. i figured no one learned about the greek gods unless they were a oddball in need of a history elective.â hecate paused, considering asking the girl if she knew who she was, but decided to hold off for the time being. âwell dear, theyâre called cars, and yes, i suppose the fashion trend is weird, but arenât they always? people are all about legs and butt i believe, so tight pants are apparently a necessity.â
âwell, my mom and my sister were always strict with the academics. and everything in general. they always wanted me to read the classics and sip tea with them.â she shared. âwell, i bet everyone back home would go crazy if they ever saw a girl wearing pants! i would always get punished when i didnât wear my stockings, so i bet my mom would throw a colossal fit if she ever saw this.âÂ

âyou need to get out of hereâŚâ he turned his head, looking at the blonde. what is a girl doing here, late at night, in a dark alleyway? especially with a possible killer around. âjust go back home, itâs dangerous out hereâŚâ
âthatâs not very nice, i was standing here before you were. so if anything, you should leave.â the blonde girl said, crossing her arms. âsee sir, i canât got back home. because i donât know how i got here. yesterday i was home. today iâm in what happens to be new york.â she added, glaring at the man. âyour costume is silly anyway, and your manners are non-existent. also, i can handle myself just fine.â
hecateisms:
âexactly like the greek god. do you know the fellow?â she gave the girl a small grin, interested in the fact that she recognized the name. as far as hecate knew most of the greek gods had been forgotten, especially in a place like this. âwell the accents and attitudes point me towards america, and iâve seen quite a few signs saying new york city. i suppose itâs fair to say you havenât been here before?â
âwell, i studied him back at home. greek gods were always one of my favorite topics.â  and by that, she meant that she didnât fall asleep during those lessons. âi havenât. america is a weird place, their carriages are strange and so are their outfits. their pants are too tight.â
beaconslittlebanshee:
âSkyscrapers? Thatâs a common thing for New York actually. The carriages are called cars and those are our phones.â Lydia held up her phone. âI donât think itâs a dream, this is all actually real and happening. And to be fair, itâs totally normal. Everyone has weird dreams sometimes, itâs totally normal and you donât need to worry because it happened to you ten years ago, okay?â She was a little confused, not exactly sure what the girl was talking about with the different realities.
alice looked at the âphoneâ with wonder. ânot a dream? if this is not a dream then what is it?â it was not her ârealâ life, at least. she knew there were three cats waiting for her at her ârealâ life. and even a sister, despite how boring and awful she was. âi guess youâre right, but still, i donât know how i got here.â
beaconslittlebanshee:
Lydia had been on a walk with her dog. That was one of the good things about New York: She could go out every day and still find new places. She loved Beacon Hills, of course, but the new place was exciting. Lydia looked up from her dog as she heard the blonde talk to her. Tilting her head she frowned slightly. âA dream? No, not that I am aware of. Why are you wondering?â
âbecause nothing makes sense here! the buildings are too tall, the carriages move on their own and everyone has this weird talking mirrors!â  alice said, taking in her surroundings. âi havenât had a dream like this in... ten years! but then again, ten years in my reality might be seconds in yours.â it was hard to believe that it had been ten years ago the last time she went through the looking glass, time was certainly weird.
hecateisms:
hecate eyed the girl for a moment. she didnât really like helping strangers, but this one looked rather young, and she couldnât just leave her alone and confused. besides, the city had enough weird people as it was, she didnât need someone wandering around thinking she was stuck in a dream. âwell dear, i donât know what youâre hallucinating, but i donât typically dream unless hypnos is involved, so itâs highly doubtful.âÂ
âhypnos? like the greek god?â thankfully she hadnât slept through her greek history lessons. they were the least boring, with all their gods and magical things. it was almost like the worlds her mind had come up with. âif this isnât a dream, then where are we?âÂ

Philip looked at the younger girl, confusion written all over his face. A dream? This wasnât a dream, at least he didnât think it was a dream. If it was, it certainly wasnât his dream. If he was within a dream, heâd actually be dead - and the dead donât dream. â I donât believe so, miss. â He replied, looking down at her. â Why would it be a dream? â
âgood, dreams can sometimes be scary, you know?â she said, looking around. this wasnât her home or anywhere she knew. but it seemed almost a bit too normal to be wonderland, or anywhere she had visited. âi donât know, i have seen weird carriages without horses. and ladies wearing pants!â she said with a giggle.Â
well that vacation didnât last long. a few days and heâs already back as the bat.Â
âspotted something.â he swooped down into the city, his cowl beeping and whirring. a body was strung up, covered up.
âscanning bones.â his eyes, white, scanned the body. scan complete. before he could get any sort of evidence from the bones, footsteps crept up behind him. slowly and slowly, the more it got closer to the bat.
alice stared at the weird dark figure with wide eyes. it was definitely not the weirdest thing she had seen in her life, considering she had encountered tyrannical queens (two, to be exact) and hatters stuck in time. âiâm sorry, are you supposed to be a cat? last time i checked they donât have wings.â alice paused, examining the body further. âoh wait, youâre a bat right?â  Â
