RWBY Subbing Project

Headed for Japan tomorrow for the rest of 2017.

And as soon as that is over, I have winter semester. I won’t be coming home late, but since it is a class relating to my major heavily, I won’t have time to sub if I have to learn two different programs at the same time.

College is more intense as always and I’m arriving home later and later. So I have to put this project on hold again. I did get more done with the first fight scene now and then, but I am quite occupied right now.

Also season 5 came out so I advise you all to update your blacklists. Since I am still on season 2, I will not do these new episodes as they come. This is to be fair.

Hey guys, it’s Kite and I’m back from China.

I’ve watched the 2nd volume while I was there and here are some things to be aware of: this will take much longer to sub because of the following reasons.

Each episode is 10 minutes minimum.

Almost every episode has a fight scene.

Each fight scene is as if not more intensive than the one in Players and Pieces.

I am covered in itchy bites and open wounds from mosquitos so I have to treat them.

I have to catch up on media and personal stuff as well as timezone adjust.

Because of so many sounds at once I would need separate software for accuracy since Amara can only do so much, and while Youtube has that power, it is too open and craptioners are too free to erase my work without me knowing. But I don’t have the freedom to download episodes or buy something like Camtasia, so I apologize for timing issues or other problems because of Amara limitations. I will work with what I’ve got, but suggestions are always appreciated if you have any.

I’ll do other videos in the meantime if I just want something done, but I won’t make any posts for them unless requested. For example, Chibi Episodes are sort and take less than an hour to sub, and the trailers are still not finished. Next semester also starts next week, and I have to make transfer preparations which include paperwork, meetings, appointments...you can get the picture.

I will definitely work on subbing while I can, and I will make another post if I absolutely have to be on hiatus again. Until then, it’s safe to assume that I’m working, drawing, or playing Overwatch. The summer games started the day I left. I also got a gift from Taobao that I’ll definitely be playing with on my personal blog.
