Late one night, after learning of his acceptance into Beacon Academy. Gawain was walking around the city of Vale to help calm himself. Lost in his own mind about what his future may hold while listening to his music; he eventually made his way to the areas of Vale that are home to shady nightclubs and less-reputable folk.  It didn’t really matter to him as some of his friends that trained with him at Signal often scoped the area to cut loose every so often.  He decided to take one of the less crowded back streets to avoid people and turning the corner to a wide alley he noticed a group of people surrounding a young woman in a black dress with purple flower patterns that matched her hair color.  The group of men around her were all older and by appearance were part of the wrong crowd.  Â
From a distance Gawain watched the scene, he could tell that the man who was the leader had managed to take the lady’s purse and that she was angry about it.  With everyone around her, the woman kept telling then to give her things back but the men just laughed her off and began to go through her purse making the woman more and more upset.  Rustling around he managed to find her identification, “Oh, what is this not much in here, little miss Lilac du Lac, you’re a long way from Mistral, ya know ya should probably carry more lien so ya don’t waste our time.” The woman with lavender hair retorts with a smug smile, “ well, maybe if you losers had real jobs maybe you wouldn’t have to shake down tourists.” Â
Gawain sighs and begins to move toward the commotion, as he thought recognized the girl and the man reading her name Lilac du Lac confirmed it.  This slender woman is an accomplished warrior he has seen fight in the Mistral Regional Tournament for the past three years, meaning that these common street thugs didn’t stand a chance but that was Gawain’s worry, for Lilac had a number of rumors about her that meant that these guys, while probably deserved, would be in danger.
Lilac’s comment made the leader angry enough to take her bait and he began to punch, while she just stood there with the wry smile.  However, before the guy’s fist could make contact it was grabbed by Gawain.  Managing to avoid being seen until halting the guy’s fist startled everyone around.  The leader jumped back out of instinct and Gawain letting him. Lilac just as shocked by the sudden appearance of a young man wearing a white jacket and stopping an attack effortlessly for a moment  and was just about to get angry at him as well but the leader of the group began to yell; “WHAT THE HELL, ya think you're some kind of white knight coming to this little girls aid?!”  Gawain made no visible expression but under his breath, he said, “you know I just prevented you from breaking your hand.”  While not loud enough for the gang of thugs to hear, Lilac manage to catch what he said much to her surprise again.  The leader began to yell again, “What did ya say, whatever, ya know you can’t beat all of us. Ya just can’t win!”  At he was yelling the men around him began to get into position to attack on cue; Gawain reached out with his right arm and pointed at the leader with two fingers and spoke calmly, “the is no such things as a no-win scenario.”  The leader made angry again snapped his fingers and his men began to move but at  the same time Gawain took action as well.
Gawain threw two of his knives toward a guy on his right, pinning him by his sleeve to a wall, and simultaneously kicked a guy coming in from the left in his chest sending him falling back and to the ground.  Regaining his balance Gawain then grabs the arm of one of the men as they attempt to punch him, then he twists the arm around causing the attack to yelp in pain from the sudden motion and fall to the ground.  As he let go another attack came from behind but Gawain without looking pivots around to both avoid the assault while elbowing the attacker in the back of the head as they pass each other. Two men to Gawain’s left and right, this time, pull out handguns at point blank range and all three of them freeze. Standing there not moving for what seems like a full minute as no one makes a move, the young man with guns pointed at his head makes no sign of being concerned because in the next breath he moves and they fire.  Gawain’s movement are sharp and quick, avoiding both bullets as he spins and moves downward. Gawain’s lightning-like movement allow him dodge the bullets and strike the guy on the left in the knees fast enough to cause him to avoid being hit as well.  The guy on the right takes the hit in the chest but his Aura warded off fatal injury. The man Gawain stuck falls back and hits his head while Gawain himself stands back up and pushes his white and black hair back with his left hand.  Then from behind the largest member of the crew, more wall than man, lunged at him. With a gust of wind, Gawain disappeared from sight as the giant attacker moved then stopped and reached for his throat.  Gawain had reappeared behind the large man, back to back,  with his arms crossed in his hands were what looked like rods that had a barely visible metal cord that went from one rod behind Gawain and around the man’s thick neck to the other rod. The man struggled to get the wire from around his neck but Gawain didn’t move even an inch, then just as the victim was about to black out due to lack of oxygen Gawain releases, one end whips around and returns to the base in Gawain’s right hand. Then the man falls leaving Gawain standing with his weapon, what looks like a metal rod roughly a half meter in length. He then, reveal with a flick of his wrist that the rod in his hand actually is a retractable dagger and then pivots on his heel to face the last one standing, the leader of the gang who had stood there and watched his men get dispatched by one kid who hadn’t even started to breathe heavy; Gawain launched the blade end of his weapon at the disgraced leader, wire trailing from the grip end, into a box behind where he stood.  The frozen leader managed to find his words, “ha, after all, that ya miss;”  then with an audible tch, Gawain jerked back on the grip pulling with it a large wooden box of breakable things that came crashing down on the back of the leader’s head knocking him out.  After retracting his dagger back he places it in a concealed holster on his back under his jacket, Gawain walks over to the guy he pinned on the wall from the beginning of the fight, who expressed terror as he was approached.  Gawain smiles then with an elbow strike knocks him out with a hit to the side of his head.  After retrieving his throwing knives he walks over to the unconscious leader and picks up the purple purse that was still in his clutches prying it from him.Â
Gawain with the stolen possession in his hands walks over to Lilac, who had decided to watch the events unfold moved to the curb sat leaning back with her arms to support her. Stopping a few feet from her as she begins to speak, “ you know I won't thank you and they won't either.”  Gawain tosses her her purse, “ why is someone like you even here?” Gawain questions her as she smiles; she looked at him for a second then with a playful voice, “hmm, you see I got into Beacon here and was going to go clubbing to celebrate but someone started blowing up the place I was going to party at.  As I was leaving these men showed up and I think you know the rest.”  Gawain sighed and she continued on, “so, if your goal was to prevent me from hurtin' them why did you destroy them like that, oh, and what is your name by the way, since you know mine now.”  Gawain let show a small trace of a smile then a sudden burst of wind distracted Lilac allowing Gawain to leave as suddenly as he showed up. Lilac let out a puff of air upward through her bangs and walked off herself.
