“you eventually would though, right? it’s okay, i need to stand up for myself anyway.” siwoo brushed off sarang’s cooing, “i think people are saying comments more because i don’t stand up for myself.”

“are you saying you  don’t want my help anymore siwoo” sarang asked, feigning hurt as she dramatically held a hand to her chest, “my little brother’s growing up! i need to call hyeran, she needs to get the boxed wine out of the fridge quick.”

“no way– if you’re queen of the gods, that makes you hera. do you really want to be devoted to zeus while he goes around perpetually just fucking other girls?” hyeran pointed out with a laugh. “what you are is gaia– all powerful and gorgeous, with everything at your fingertips.” she giggled. “i’m sure that’ll go over well. but really, you’re an adult. just move out don’t even tell them. i’ll provide lodging for you.”

“it’s not accusations if we’ve all seen her before and after transformation,” seola pointed out with a scoff, head cocking to the side and grinning when sarang said her next piece. “i respect that. can’t say i relate– when it comes to what goes in my body, in that context, i think the only things that qualify at the moment are tampons and noah,” she answered, snickering. she didn’t miss juliette (or most of the members), but she missed sarang. sarang was fun. “you’re, like, the only one.”

“you can get away from her seola, i need to still do fanservice from time to time with her,” sarang said with a laugh before her eyes widened. “the helix guy? hm, i think i’d go for the taller guy but he’s still good - glad you found someone.” sarang shrugged, “well then that’s their problem and they’re missing out, right? you made spotlight treat their idols better and the other girls should be thankful for that.”

“i can’t look for too long, sweetie– i’ll go blind,” hyeran giggled, kissing sarang’s jaw. “you’re too pretty. a goddess among men, honestly.” she smiled, nodding. “stay here, then. stay with me and don’t go. i can keep you plenty entertained.”

“blinding beauty? i can get down with that,” sarang replied with an airy laugh, moving her head upwards for hyeran. “can i be queen of the gods? that’s the aspiration.” she sighed a little before laughing, “i’ll just go up to spotlight and say as much as i love the juliette dorms, the prospect of sex whenever is much more fun and an offer i can’t refuse.”

“i promise. no one’s been giving me trouble.” siwoo answered with ease, staring back at his older sibling, “you can’t gang up on people for me, sarang. even if i do appreciate it deep down.”

“siwoo-ah,” sarang cooed with  a smile on her face, “i;m only kidding. well, slightly. i wouldn’t fight anyone just yet; i’d just remind them of who you are, who i am and what we are.”

“well, i guess i can forgive you. but only if i get copies of the best pictures. for personal reasons,” hyeran mumbled, rollling over so she was up against sarang and wrapping her arms around her. “oh please– you say that as if you can’t show it off here! and i would argue that i’m a much more appreciative audience than your group is.”

“they’d all be best pictures because look at me,” sarang said, motioning down at herself before moving herself into hyeran’s hold. she laughed and shook her head lightly, “i’m teasing you. besides, we both know how much i’d rather be here than at the dorms still.”

“Strong vocalists. I had a choice of companies, but I can’t rap so Radioactive was out, and DS has some good singers but a lot of much stronger dancers. And I don’t love dancing like that.” She shook her head a little. “You guys haven’t been cute in years. Haze was almost never cute. Iris is cute sometimes, but it’s not the gross, cringey kind of cute that sticks with some groups forever. A little cute is okay, but being relegated to ‘shy shy shy’ until the day of my death is too much for me.”

“radioactive has strong vocalists too - they literally debuted that rosie girl last year and she’s good for a rookie,” sarang pointed out, “to be fair to sparkle - they debuted with a not so cute song, so i mean you can’t fault them. cute’s a good selling point, ultimately. i can assure you i don’t like performing gee as much as i used to but i still do it. i’d take ‘shy shy shy’ over ‘gee gee gee’, honestly.”

“are you sure nobody’s been giving you trouble?” sarang asked, arms crossed, “because if they have then tell me and they’ll wish they hadn’t; airi and hyeran’ll help.”

“and, additionally, anything hitting her in the face would do no damage because it’s all plastic anyway,” seola added with a smile, eyes glancing in sarang’s direction. “mm, yeah, but yours are still real, right? i think you get extra bonus points for that alone.” she smiled softly, looking down. “that makes one out of eight of you, i supposed. thanks.”

“i wasn’t going to make any accusations but you took the words right out of my mouth,” sarang winked before nodding. “there’s only two plastic things i let in my body - plastic drinking and eating related things and something else, if you know what i mean.” she shrugged. “i mean, if juliette is meant to have this bond or something then i have to support you, right? i’m not going to turn on you just because you left - i’m not that snakey.”

“okay, so if jinahn’s whining has any merit to it and i damaged you as much as she says i did by leaving, then sorry i guess, but i’m still not sorry i left,” seola said stubbornly. “i’m more than just a concept and that wasn’t me, no matter how much they wanted it to be me.”

“jinahn wouldn’t know damaging if it hit her in the face,” sarang snorted, “plus i’m not speaking to her at the moment because she’s got bigger tits than me and that’s not right.” she shrugged, “i get it, you don’t need to tell me. i don’t get the big fuss about you leaving, if i’m honest. it’s your life at the end of the day.”

“mm, why are you back so late,” hyeran whined a little as sarang entered the bedroom, pout on her lips. “i know juliette is planning a comeback, but airi is on tour– you know i get lonely! why you gotta leave me here all alone?” @rvsarang

“i was doing some other promotional things like a swimsuit photoshoot,” sarang replied, immediately placing herself beside hyeran and smiled at her, “trust me, as much as i love the other girls i’d much rather be here with you - even if we’re discussing an opportunity to show off my cleavage.”
