Most of Liberty’s males were on the tall side - it was something she constantly had to work around and it made her policy of sustainable fashion a bit of a nightmare when keeping the budget in mind.
It also meant Limmy was not without a stool any time she had to do fittings or repair, which is what she was currently doing with Kyungil, who had somehow managed to tear his suit jacket. “So, do you want to tell me what you’ve been doing that you tore it? Jumping jacks?” she questioned.

“listen– it’s been a long road and a lot of work to keep them,” ahmi laughed. “they probably wouldn’t fit right now considering i had a kid a month ago, but i’m naturally pretty small. once i start working out again they’ll fit. i am incredibly fortunate.”

admittedly, dasom did pout a little bit as limmy pointing out that she had schedules in less than twelve hours, but she eventually just nodded and straightened out again now that she’d had her moment. it was probably for the best, she knew all of the statistics (even if she wasn’t going to be one, she knew that for sure). “okay, we just have to be careful not to drink too much of it then! i don’t want to be puffy tomorrow, now that i remember the schedules”
She was grateful her friend wasn’t going to argue with her on it today, and she gave a smile. "Oh, I'm not going to be slamming sodas back tonight -- I'm not nineteen anymore," Limmy laughed, cupping her cheeks. “Puffiness aside, it hits me way harder than it used to nowadays. Either they’ve been adding more sugar or I’m getting old.”

“a stylist just told me that if i have any heels, to throw them out, because i’m too tall to wear them anyway,” harin commented with an eyeroll. “i mean, i only really have heeled boots, but still. its 2020. i would have thought people would be over women looking tall by now.”
“Mm...hmm,” Limmy hummed thoughtfully as she took in the girl’s words - mentally searching who could’ve said something like that among her crew. Maybe it wasn’t as serious as it was annoying, but commentary like that could very well be a gateway into someone saying something a great deal more harmful and derogatory down the line and she was not about to deal with that HR nightmare. “Give me their name, we’ll need to have a talk.”

“no, that’s exactly it,” daeseok said with a nod. “like, some people are incredible soloists. look at ilyoon. or lucille. or even yein– i guess they all have backgrounds in groups, but they’ve all transitioned beautifully. but i think i work best as a piece of a whole. and, i don’t know– i’m introverted, but i need people around me. in this industry especially, where everything is so on display. when i had empire, everyone else could take focus when i was struggling, but that isn’t the case anymore.”
Limmy nodded. “I can definitely understand that. Even introverts need their support systems--” she paused in thought for a moment. “Do you think you would go back to being in a group? You know, if you were given the chance, I mean.”

“i could absolutely help with that,” chunja answered, maybe a little too quickly. she pushed her hair back with a blush. “i mean, if you need me, i can definitely help!”
Limmy couldn’t help the laugh from bubbling up. “That’s the spirit,” she said. “I think wardrobe has become somewhat of my dragon’s hoard--it may take a while to get through but having more than one person should make quicker work.”

She smiled a little. “If it were anybody else I’d have to snipe them, but I trust you not to go spreading it around,” Limmy teased, before briefly looking back up at Fallon. “Thanks, I’ve been putting a lot of thought into it. Designs for Burnout are the most fun, because they tow a line between modern and classic.”

“please tell me you need help. even a little bit of help,” chunja begged with a little groan. she was being dragged around by various higher officials, and she wanted something to do that didn’t require her to be standing for a moment. “i can sort mail? shred old documents? organize stuff? literally anything– i can’t handle being an errand girl today.”
“The only thing I can really think of that I could use a hand with is just... going through Liberty’s wardrobe and sorting out which items need to be refinished and which would probably be better left alone?” Limmy asked. “A fresh set of eyes would be useful.”

he fidgeted for a moment before giving in. “well, i don’t know. i debuted when i was really young as a soloist, and that didn’t work out well. clearly, since they retracted me and i ended up debuting in a group later. and i have vocal talent, and had a platform to showcase that in empire, but i was never the charismatic one or one with a big personality or anything. i worked well in a group, though, because i didn’t have to be. and now that i’ve firmly been a soloist for a long time now, it just feels like i’m really not good at being on m own.”y
She listened attentively to the man... she was never really a part of any group, nor did she have any kind of talent that would lead her to the stage, so she couldn’t exactly speak to the other’s discomfort exactly. But honestly, Liberty had it’s fair share of odd ducks that seemed displaced at times, so she has somewhat of an idea. “I think I understand. I guess being with a group after being alone made it feel like you were missing something,” she observed. “That’s how it seems, anyway.”

“don’t be patronizing and you won’t get any cheek. i’m allowed to be upset by someone talking down to me, and a couple of cuss words don’t discredit my feelings, or valid reasons for being upset,” hayoon countered
Okay, so the younger definitely had a point. Though she herself hadn’t been the target of it in quite a while, she’d seen her own fair share of people talking down to her. Maybe that’s why she was so rough, she didn’t like feeling less than. “Sorry.”
