bro I was just in therapy and my therapist asked me about characters I relate to and in my head, since I'm currently hyperfixating on phm, I went "well I can't say rocky cuz like... that's an alien and like basically a supercomputer and that would bring up so many questions I really don't want to answer. You know, the lonely dude who was abandoned/betrayed, has exactly one (1) very close friend, is very smart but also incredibly clumsy and silly and dumb in the smart way if that makes sense and is constantly underestimated and looked down on because of that but also has an insane amount of pressure and responsibility forcibly pushed on him. And has memory issues. Yeah I'm sure that'll work great and not bring up any uncomfortable questions!"
