5/9/19 This time last year, I had just finished doing my exams in the summer, after deferring them from June to August as I had a mental breakdown and lost my ability to read. After the isolation at Bristol, studying while all my friends enjoyed their summers, I spent evenings waiting for autumn… This was me looking back over my notes for my final exam of that year. xx Emily

6.3.19 The stress would usually be on right now but I feel unnervingly calm… it’s a rainy week in Bristol and I’m sitting in nero catching up a missed lecture. I’ve been quite busy over the past week. The most important information, though, is that I passed the paediatric test with a great result. 👌🏻

This week I started working on my additional science project. I’ll be writing a case study on the Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome and it already is super interesting. I hope to finish collecting data of our patients ASAP.

Also - new books in here! I decided to order a few positions that will help me prepare for future exams. 🚀

Today was a great day. I started it with doing some excersises for a german lesson I had later. After that I decided to go to the library with @medstudentgettingpersonal and we had a 4-hours long common study sesh. Then I went straight to the gym and came back home late evening to chill out with a cup of tea and a nice dinner. Hopefully I’ll have more and more of these productive kind of days. 🦋

Today was THE day - I finally escaped the state I was in for the past week, went out and was productive. Spent a nice few hours at the library with @medstudentgettingpersonal studying for pediatry and psychiatry, then I decided to hit the gym. Now, at the end of this day, I’m feeling much better. 🦋
