Some people are afraid to say no or are afraid that you will get mad at them! This is to say that you would prefer people politely tell you NO if they don't want to do something!

Don't know how to say no? Here are some ways that shouldn't hurt anyone's feelings:

I'm not really feeling that idea, but maybe we could do (blank) instead

Maybe another time / not right now / I don't have the bandwidth for that kind of plot right now / that's not the type of thing I was really looking for but I'd love to do something else / I'm not currently looking for more threads / It's better for me if we just focus on what we have for now / hmmm what if we did (blank) instead / maybe another time!

Playfully rolling her eyes, Eve wrapped her arms around his waist to pull him flush, rocking slowly from side to side in a slow dance.

“You’ve been workin’ a lot recently, is there a big episode comin’ up or somethang? I’m worried you’re skippin’ meals…”

Butterfly kisses painted his cheeks, one hand finding it’s way in his hair,

“You worry me, sweet baby…”

He was used to the shallow adoration of fans, the light playful sibling-like affection of Candy Apple, whatever the hell he and Shadow Milk had going on. This was new.

She rested her head on his chest, staring up at him as if he had hung the moon.

“Can you call off today? I wanna go on a date. We haven’t had one of those in a while. I love your shows, but ya gotta do somethang other than work all the time. Let’s go do somethang fun!”

He could take that risk today though. For her. It might mean playing catch up when he got back, but it wouldn’t be the first time. At least it was better than cleaning up Candy Apple’s messes - that’s what usually interrupted him.
