He had wondered where her usual guard had been - he had assumed they had been left back at the pagoda… He put a hand on her shoulder, even as the smile came back, he didn’t remove it… letting her finish her own tale with her own growth.

When she brought up the idea of travelling together he did finally let her shoulder go to do a quiet clap!

“Oh! Two enlightenments for the price of one! That might be fun - to see the world together! But if we’re travelling together, there’s one thing I must know…” Dramatic pause.

"Most have taken to calling me The Leavened One," she hummed in thought, "but it is a rather long name. Would you be willing to call me Water Lily? They represent resurrection and spiritual rebirth. It seems... fitting."

The sound of applause boomed throughout the vast halls of the grand circus, creatures of every kind screaming for more gimmicks and tricks.

It was Eve’s greatest pleasure and dream to bestow the art of theatrical whimsicality upon the masses, leaving no portion of her residence untouched with magical essence. In her newly improved tent, folks got the opportunity to throw away reality for a good few hours and succumb to the pull of fantasy, aiming to leave each audience member with a memory not even a modification spell could erase.

“How are we all feelin’, folks? Free? Joyous? Chaotic?! Let me hear those oh so DELIGHTFUL SCREAMS ~ !”

The ringleader was loud enough that she didn’t even need the assistance of thaumaturgy. Once more, the audience erupts into buoyant merriment.

“For this next act, we’re gonna need TWO volunteers!”

Scanning the sea of faces, Eve’s gaze locks onto the two blue skinned siblings, stars jumping into her eyes.

“YOU TWO! Please, please! Join my nonsensical crew and I on stage!”

With a snap of her fingers, twin clown illusions appear side by side, bowing respectfully before holding out their large hands to the elves.

But there was also a sort of academic fascination with it too! At least for Sage! Illusion was not his specialty, after all.

Chess however, was only here to humour Sage. And to pickpocket their neighbouring seats while they were distracted by the show.

When they were picked as volunteers Sage clapped his hands excitedly before shooting a look at Chess, who had mischief written all over his face.

Sage shot his brother a whispered Message in a strange dialect of Elvish, “You are going to cooperate and not try to upstage them. You hear me?”

“Y’know, it’s not often that someone reaches out like that.” Timekeeper said, quietly landing behind the Guardian of the Silver Tree. “I’m curious as to how you knew about the Time Balance Department, or perhaps were you looking for an answer from Time itself?” A polite bow was given to the Faerie King, top hat swept off their head as they did so.

They couldn’t promise an answer, but they could perhaps offer a solution that wouldn’t nudge things too far. A brief look around the area, noting the over-usage of silver. A pure metal, something that bound and protect; Witch-blessed.

A curious little head-tilt, hat returning to her head. “I take it this isn’t a social call, either. So, what is it you seek?”

Timekeeper’s voice was filtered in – somewhere.

They had gone poking around the various places of the timeline, prodding occasionally or going over plans. Something about this place though – oooo~ touchy kind of magic. Strong too, but not entirely volatile. Highly concentrated, and condensed perfectly in these little candies. She could tell that these had been created from a strong magic source… hm. The soul jams, perhaps?

“Honestly, your talent is wasted here. You should be heading your own place! Or the head of a research lab!”
