obviously bucky deserves to be wined and dined but i think notions of romance are a little understated in the buckbucky relationship. sometimes really understated. like john will say offhandedly that they’re not really big on dates as a couple and gale will be like ?? we literally went on a date last weekend? we bought matching clothes? and bucky’s like you mean when we went to costco and got hot dogs and a pack of black tube socks to share. and gale’s like ok so you don’t think what we have is special.
