Short run to start the week. Two loops to try out two new shoes...Adidas Supernova Rise 3 and Saucony Hurricane 25. Much needed boost of fresh foam after wearing out my entire rotation over this past ultra training.

The heat dome is gone and back to running in seasonal high humidity, but not life-threatening! Got in a good long run along the canal towpath which is always awesome.

Second run of the day after an earlier group training run. Did 2.50 miles on this one to celebrate the 250th...Happy Fourth of July!

Got out much earlier than the usual, but the heat wave is fully here! Lower temp at 8am, but disgusting humidity and dew point. Got it done!

A bit humid, but nothing like the record high temperatures expected next week... so sucked it up and got to run in! Pretty decent pace and tolerable heart rate considering the muggy feel.

Nice run around town ahead of some rain. Relied on my Garmin Fenix 8 color-coded HR zone data field to stay just within the upper part of zone two .

Another awesome run down the Jersey Shore! A strong headwind in one direction, but good pace and HR overall.
