The Land of Dragons was a strange place. Of this Jitka was very much certain. But they were not as barbarian, savage, and underdeveloped as the other Magesters claimed. Unlearned perhaps, lacking a certain appreciation to magick certainly. But she could live with that…had to live with that from now on.

There was no doubt though, that the view from this cliff was spectacular and gave a grand view over the Oaklore forest.

Absentmindedly she touched the vials attached to her belt, filled with alchemical creations that would keep her safe in case of a fight. She was running out though, and rather sooner than later she would need to figure out a way to cast spells again. Or create a new nexus from the small fragment she had taken from the Mana Core Piece.

Preferably a non-living one. Making an ignominious was out of the question, but perhaps a well learned mage from these lands could help her. The people living near the harbour she had arrived at did not know any but had pointed her in the direction of Oaklore. Saying that the Knights stationed at the Keep would likely known where to find such a mage and if not knew someone who did.

“I better get moving,” Jitka mused, Oaklore Keep should not be to far now and she’d rather reach it before sunset. She cast one last look over the valley. “It’s the perfect day for adventure… I can just feel it!” Freedom, adventure, and thrills. Something she never had the chance of experiencing before.

However, just as she was about to start walking away. Something massive, bigger than she had ever seen, shot past her. It was gigantic, with red scales, huge teeth, and even larger wings. It could swallow her in a single bit, and even with her magick being almost non-existent at the moment she could feel it roll off the being.
