Rumble

alr alr alr I just wanna preface this w: Thiocarbonate. can sometimes have a very incomprehensible texting style. If need/want clarification on anything, plsplspls feel free to send in rb, dm, comment, whatever is most comfortable!

So! most of this is kinda centered from the "Soundwave is Rumble and Frenzy's father" hc. The main challenge here is that I'm writing G1 Rumble and Frenzy, and the local Soundwave isn't G1

This means can write many fun character design aspects :D :D :D

Shoutout to my buddies for letting me rant abt them for a while last night!

HC's for both:

Design-wise, they both look rly rly similar to G1

Going off of the TFP Soundwave's visor design, they can both somewhat display stuff on their visors! For now they can't really do anything better than a few words, but they try they best

^ Expanding on this: Sometimes waveforms can pop up, but that's only really when they're recharging

These menaces. These absolute menaces. They decided that they wanted to fuck with everyone and switch colors periodically. Why? Who knows. They just think it's funny as shit

Neither of them like being touched or grabbed by ppl they don't deem "safe" (For now this list includes: Soudwave, Ravage, The other twin, and somewhat Ratchet)

They. can't actually transform into anything that's not a cassette, but that's ok they try they best

I'm writing them to have roughly the maturity level of middle school kids

They. Do not think Shockwave likes them. Mostly bc their chaoticness doesn't necessarily align w his happenings

^ Expanding on this: Their impression of him is smth like "Grr grr grr logic logic logic !! I'm so gay for your dad but you kinda suck lol". Is this accurate? Probably entirely but they rly don't know any better (Rest is up to Shockwave mod!)

If something happens, they're gonna 1: make sure it's something they can handle (They are WRONG most of the time and get overzealous), and then run to Soundwave if stuff doesn't work out

They will subconsciously whirr and/or beep at people when they get surprised/stressed. They also. probably picked this up from Soundwave T-T T-T

They are SO brainrotted. Go up to one of them and they might be going like "SKIBIDI SLIDERS !!!!! W RIZZ !!!!!! SIGMASIGMASIGMASIGMASIGMA-"

Realistically: they're not gonna be identical in personalities or just like anything in general. They might both be menaces and outwardly chaotic, but there's a buncho little differences I wanna write

Frenzy:

Frenzy thinks before acting. It's lowk a problem but whatever

Tends to overestimate skills and ability, which causes problems

Also can and will fight ppl if they do anything to cause problems for ppl cared abt. can and WILL foxy_jumpscare.mp4. Idk how to better describe it

Frenzy has little to no control over volume of voice. Will be very very loud when excited. Rumble usually catches and calms down.

When scared/guilty/sad, can be very very quiet

Does NOT like physical contact. Will never initiate it unless absolutely necessary.

Exceptions to Rumble, Soundwave, and Ravage. Will always let Rumble latch on when he wants to

Likes to listen to overstimulating music. The more chaotic, the better

Frenzy tends to hyperfixate on stuff (Currently Pokemon) and yap to Rumble abt it

Will often create new HC's and OC's that align w media of choice :D (DEFINITELY has a pokemon trainer oc that keeps secret, feel free to call out on it bc Frenzy is sometimes drawing her lol)

Doesn't cry very often. Usually only when in life or death scenarios, but even then, still very rare. Mostly just gets really really defensive and/or aggressive

Gets like these random bursts of energy and will run around and climb on walls for a little while, before proceeding to sploot on the floor or sm

Overexaggerates body language a lot. Not intentionally, but still happens

Frenzy has a face with subtitles. Won't say anything, but can tell emotions regardless

Epic Gamers!!!!!!!

Will tolerate physical touch from strangers only in very special circumstances. TOLERATE!!! Mostly bc feels bad to push away T-T

Rumble:

So Rumble's a lot more sensitive and tends to think a little more before taking any actions. (difference is. marginal, but it's there)

This is mostly bc he got a bit of the telepathy stuff from Soundwave

^ Expanding on this: He has absolutely no idea how to regulate this. This is exactly why he gets super overwhelmed super super easily. Up to Soundwave mod if he knows/notices this! Bc. Rumble is convinced that he just needs to get good and probably won't bring it up on his own T-T T-T

^ More expansion: Rumble doesn't know that it's necessarily telepathy that's overwhelming him 95% of the time, he just knows that hiding somewhere dark and quiet helps a lot

If he can't do that tho, he usually grounds himself either by shaking his servos out, picking at his fingers, or if he's really stressed out, chewing on the nearest object

He also does some of these when he's really excited

Rumble doesn't like when things don't make sense. If he can't figure out how stuff works, he get really frustrated really quickly

Thus: He likes to listen to Frenzy yap abt whatever captures interest at the moment (Right now, it's pokemon)

Rumble doesn't like when people he doesn't know touches him

Having said that, he will be very clingy to ppl he does trust (Frenzy, Soundwave, Ravage, Nickel and Ratchet to an extent, Singularity to leser of an extent)

He likes to latch onto Frenzy and Soundwave like a fucking koala

He gets very embarrassed by this, but he tends to cry very frequently when stressed and 1: alone, 2: around ppl he trusts, 3: when being a sopping wet mess of a kid is strategically advantageous (Who would be so mean to beat up a crying kid?? smhsmhsmh)

Rumble likes reading stuff. His fav genres are mostly science fiction bc he gets to laugh at all the ridiculousness of stuff

If/when he finds out what ARG's are, he would. very much be very invested in them

so uhhhhh yeah! That's abt all can think of offhand
