Love the idea of Mommy permanently regressing u in an emotional sense. I mean sure makin u forget ur potty training and ABCs is one thing. But imagine;
U used to be able to handle inconveniences and conflicts throughout the day, Traffic, assholes at work, the big world in general, but since meeting Mommy things started to change.
It started small. When they didn't have ur favourite food at the store after a really rough week. At first u were understandably disappointed, but Mommy hugged and comforted u as if u were a wailing babe. Were u really THAT upset, should u be?
After accidentally dropping ur ice cream on the ground, ur Mommy encouraging u to cry it out. "Its not healthy to hold ur emotions in baby. Mommy is right here." Oh should u be sad? U did just lose ur tasty ice cream 🥺 and Mommy thinks its a big deal. So it must be, right?
U couldn't drive anymore, one wrong turn, one missed exit and u had to pull over and call for Mommy to pick u up through a flood of tears and snot.
One day at work u misspelled something on a form and became inconsolable for half an hour. U had to tearfully call Mommy from the employee bathroom. Apologising and begging her to bring u a change of pants, because in ur saddened state u had lost control of ur bladder.
Ur Mommy did u one better. In her eyes at least. She brought u a change of pants and... pull-ups. Not really adult ones either, these had smiling Princesses on them. But u didn't wanna argue. Just imagining Mommy disappointed or mad almost had u crying again. So u didn't even put up a fight. Just a little mewling whine.
Ur threshold for emotional breakdowns lowered and lowered. Ur mind rewiring. But nothing to worry about, Mommy was always right there. Comforting u all along the way.
She didn't mind. Not at all. In fact she loved it. Her sensitive little one, so dependent on her. U couldn't go anywhere without her anymore. U needed her there with u constantly. To comfort u, to change ur increasingly soaked pull-ups, or to quell your frequent tantrums.
Eventually ur boss had to let u go. U had just threw another temper tantrum at work. This one over a coworker swiping ur pen. U wouldn't calm down until ur Mommy had been called in. She wasnt thrilled to be pulled away from her own job, but she was very happy when u were given the boot by ur boss.
Oh how u cried and cried. Ur pull-ups full and leaking, making ur exit all the more final and embarrassing, but Mommy was there. She hugged u close reassuring u that this was for the best. U didn't need the stress anyway.
Now u could just stay home with Mommy and hide away from the big scary world.
Finally u were all hers. No longer that big independent adult. Just her little pissypants crybaby.
