The dark knight smirked as he approached the chained ruler. “I was the one who captured you my dear. It took quite a lot of resources to pull off but it was worth it.” He got to the edge of the stone table and looked down at her.

Jaune let her speak and waited until she calmed down a little. “What I want my dear is you and what you do best; rule.” He gently ran a finger under her chin so their eyes met. “I want you to rule by my side as my Queen.”

"Queen? You want me to be your Queen? I.... think that could be arranged, but did you think it was so necessary to chain up your Queen?" She asked Queen didn't sound bad at all but she did worry since she was chained up, all he had to do was ask her.

Like many contracts before, Joe was tasked to transport this individual from one place to another. However, this time was different as this individual was considered a high priority. Upon entering the room, he found the woman bound with chains on her wrists. With him wearing a mask, it was hard to tell his facial expression. “Nevertheless, I’m getting you out of here.” He flicked his wrist to reveal a hidden blade and began to pick the locks on the wrist.

"How did you even find me?" She asked the man who was unlocking the wrist chains.

He wasn’t going to tell her outright how he found her. “Let’s just say I followed up on a lead and it brought me here.” He finished one and then moved onto the other. “You must be quite popular if you’re chained up like this.”

"You can say that. I think they just want my power. Please, can you please get me out of here."

“I can, though I’d like to know your name, I’m also assuming that there is a reward for me getting you out of here?” He finished the last lock.

"My name is Jeanne. And what is your kind sir?"

“Joe, pleasure to meet you. We can discuss my reward when we get you out and in a safer place.” Once she was freed, he took her hands and had her follow him, keeping her close by.

Luckily for her, he had a place that wasn’t too far away from here and it was out of sight as it was well hidden. He opened the door and hurried her in and closed the door. “There, we should be good in here.” It was much warmer in here. He led her to a couch and looked to her. “Here, sit.”

She could feel the warmth, and as she walked into the room more she looked around before she sat down on the couch. "Thank you." She said as she sits trying to warm herself up.

He gave a nod and looked out to see if they were followed. It looked like they were in the clear and went back to Jeanne. “Right, looks like we made it undetected.” He stood in front of her and looked down. “So, about my reward.”

She looked up at him as he stood in front of her. "Oh yes let's talk about that. Come what could I possibly give you? Name it and you will have it I promise you."
