    Curtis has always concealed his true intentions behind that of a warm smile and kind eyes. Having grown up in an abusive household, he learned early on that power and capital is earned through force and if needed, violence. He rarely shows his true personality to the public eye, often appearing as a kind old man who wants nothing more but to help those in need. He spent most of his life crafting and honing this personality in order to appear as genuine as possible, something he can use to trick those looking for help into becoming a part of his “family.” 

Underneath that soft smile is a man filled with hatred for everyone around him. He despises those beneath him and views himself as above everyone else, a man untouchable by those he deems worthless and insignificant. A man who’s prone to violence if caught in a bad mood, taking it out on the very people he’s trying to help. 

He views those seeking his help as “children”, individuals who are unable to do anything without Curtis’ guidance and assistance. Curtis will break down people’s defenses and use their weaknesses to his advantage in order to get close enough to manipulate them, bending their wills to get them to do the dirty work he refuses to do.
