After 2 years of teaching game development at Europeia University I decided to quit. I loved teaching (and I still do) but I really missed working on comercial projects and I wanted to eventually work on mobile games. At the time I got some nice client projects so I thought that it was the perfect time to do it. After a few months working on client projects I decided to take a dive and live off of savings for a few months while I worked on a mobile game (crazy right?) It was a weird period where I was always trying to manage the thoughts that what I was doing was career suicide (who makes money from mobile games these days anyway?)... But finally after a few months of development and sharing the game on social media I got contacted by a publisher and we reached a deal. So I’m happy to announce that Wind Rider is going to be published by ZPlay! I also got in touch with other publishers and established some future partnerships that, hopefully, will allow me to get some other games released as well :) So all in all, 2017 brought me amazing work opportunities and I’m really looking forward to how 2018 will unveil! :)

Haven’t posted anything in a while so here’s a small update about WindRider:  The game has entered Beta and I’ve been testing with some people. Based on their feedback I’m making some changes on the game and way it plays. These are simple changes to implement but they should make the game more interesting :) I’ve also been in conversations with a couple publishers. At first the idea was to publish the game myself but I’m curious to see if anyone is actually interested in publishing the game and what sort of deal we can come up with.  I’ll post here once I have more news :D
