I don't disillusion myself with America's checkered past nor the evils committed by many both as a nation and individually. The fact that we are proponents to change and to correct, is what is GREAT about America. Does that mean everyone grows and changes proportionally, absolutely not. Painting people who are patriotic as racist and uneducated is as ignorant as making blatant statements about the characters of any group, including NFL or NBA players. BOTH are the two faces of hatred but one side is ignored. The folks who served under the flag and died for the flag were all sorts of colors but all the blood was RED. So yes, when any millionaires who never sweated and bled for something other than themselves or who they deemed as important, want to paint pictures of individuals in only negative colors then yes, you are being selectively ignorant.
