They did all of this just manage to hit back to square one, “She isn’t here..” his voice lowered down in absolute anger. “What are we supposed to do now?! This fucking place was our last and only lead!” he threw the file onto the ground, “we should just give up, cut our losses, and leave.”

His finger now moved to point at the shelfs on the opposing direction, marked with G-H. 

“Here it is!” his eyes widen as this sense of both excitement and relief washed over him. Taking the file with his right hand, Levi opened it immediately reading over it. “What a minute..” there was a definite sign of confusion that soon followed, “this isn’t right, according to this, Hitch wasn't even in her graduating class” with this new information the raven took the papers in hand and ran back to Jean. This had better have been some kind of mistake.

Was this the personal side of Levi speaking to him? Why… Eren was confused. But his heart nearly burst at the words. Levi couldn’t live without him. 

"How could I forget that Corporal?" Was the captain really saying what he meant? Sure he had always admired the Corporal ever since he first laid his eyes on him. But the time he spent within the Scouting Legion, he couldn’t help but let his admiration transition to romantic feelings. He tried his damn hardest to hide his feelings, but what the Corporal just said made his heart race. "Please, tell me what you meant." 

[♟]--He had spoken too soon, had broken his number one rule, don’t get attached. “What I mean..?” his voice was no longer cold and stern, but replaced with one so meek. It was just so out of character of him to behave this way, what was difficult to confess? The boy looked interested to hear what he had to say, “F-for the past few days you have plagued my mind, it’s every time I walk into a room my eyes search for you and ..” a pause “I can’t seem to stop myself..” was it wrong of him to tell him all of this? Eren had his whole life ahead of him, he could be with someone better, someone his own age, not settle for second rate.

[♟]— He sighed, seeing the boy beaten and busied was annoying. He didn’t sigh up for this and even if he did, he wasn’t getting paid enough. "Did you at least win?" 

"I didn’t beat them up too badly. I did worse when I was younger." And that was a true fact. He had killed two men when he was younger, armed only with a knife and the will to fight. "I’m prepared to face the court sir. However, my claim will be self-defense. They verbally and physically attacked me whilst I was minding my own business."

At some point the higher ups are just going to hang you, it was bad enough you almost got shot on your first trial and whether you did this in self-defense or not is no concern of theirs. They already dislike you and having an incident like this isn’t going to win you any points.” he sighed “I’m not saying you should let yourself get the shit beaten out of you but you could just easily avoid these problems. The best thing to do now is wait for the file report and soon after we’re going to have investigate what happen because fucking lord knows the Military Police isn’t going to tell the truth on your behalf” it was the only way to keep the brunet safe and have a fair trial.
