Yes thank you for reminding me, while I am also African American, I regret that it slipped my mind when rendering so I forgot to put it in. I'll make sure to remember in the future.

Ignia is a Quartz soilder of Pink Diamonds court. As a Magma type quartz she is capable of manipulating a gem's light form temporarily enhancing their physical abilities, forcing gems to work beyond their limits. Often at the cost long-term starin and ultimatly damaging thier light forms. Following the Diamonds last attack on earth, Ignia protected herself by hiding away deep underground, as if she had bubbled herself. Overtime she found comfort within earth it both becoming her home and her prison.

I finished her design. Im naming her Ignia because all the other gems in the world don't look like how I imagined and just don't have a name I want to give her. Its really freeing to not limit myself to the show, I don't know why i was limiting myself in the first place its why her design in general took me so long.

This is as much as I got done today on ryis im too lazy to render right now.

I'm not done with her ofcourse. But I am so bad at concept art (╥﹏╥). It took me so long just to get to these last two options. I plan on working on concepts of her weapon next which is a bow/hammer combo still not sure how it works entirely. I based her whole lore around a little bit of myself characteristics of her "gem". I say "gem" because im not quite sure how i feel about the one I chose I want it to be a magma looking gem but I found this one called magma chalcedony, but im still a little on the fence about it. Mainly because I not sure what her name should be since I don't really like Magma all that much.
