Met up on the sub with my friend with our bags for our mini staycation in queens village. Once we got off the sub we waited for a bus, which took us on a pretty short trip. We walked to the house through an interesting neighborhood..a corner store across from a hipster coffee shop? 🤷🏿‍♀️very cool. When we got to the house we looked around, unpacked & got settled in. My friend has to run to the store for a lighter (always unprepared), m&m & snickers ice cream(I want some now), candy,& drinks. We ordered food, Pizza, mozzarella sticks, & wings (that Jerome complained about). After eating we 🌬🌳, then watched boy meets world on Hulu. I could watch that show all day. Around 9? We got bored, Jerome suggested going to a bar, which we should have done but oh well. Shortly after we got ready for bed then lit candles & listened to 90’s r&b. Then went to sleep…but not for long! Around 4am I was awaken to the sound of someone grinding their teeth & snoring 😴 SO LOUD. After that I didn’t get much more sleep 🙄 The next day when I finally decided to get out of bed, after Jerome asked if he could get me 🤰🏿for my Birthday (which was creepy) I just chilled, watched YouTube vids. Then Jerome decided to join me..we had ice cream for breakfast & watched the staircase on Netflix. The husband totally did it imo, have to finish watching that. Then we got ready to walk to the Kawaii Kitty cafe! I have been following them on ig for so long! I was excited..it was a nice little walk to the cafe from the apartment, idk how that worked out perfectly. The decor was adorable & the cats were awesome..I wish we could have had the room to ourselves but there was about 6 or 7 other people in the room at the same time as us, & honesty, they were kind of cramping my style. Through that struggle I still managed to fall in love with one baby named Chia Pudding. Even had one cat try to fight me for my milkshake! I wish we would have come earlier to have time to drink our treats because that cat was persistent. That milkshake was amazing though, I don’t blame them for trying. After the cafe we headed back to the air bnb, stopped for some waters on the way. When we got home we ordered food after Jerome was being indecisive. I thought we agreed on Chinese food but somehow we ended up getting wings again & I got a shrimp platter. It was good. After eating we watched hanging with Mr cooper, never really watched that show..I know it existed and I knew the theme song, but never got a feel for the show itself & it was awesome. Amazing show..doesn’t get enough credit! After watching that we started to get ready for this surprise Jerome had..that he claimed was my bday surprise, but then kept saying we were going to see fireworks…but that wasn’t adding up..what would I want to see fireworks for my bday? Why did he ask me to wear Chelsea boots to stand out in a field, why did he pick out a blouse for me to wear? Didn’t seem like a fireworks watching blouse..I’m a very intuitive person, I can’t really be surprised. It sucks ☹️. I started to think we were going to a concert..I remember seeing Sam smith was coming to town ages ago. & I obviously remembered it was July 4th..& it all just started coming together in my head. Nonetheless, I was still surprised I was right & had such a good time! Despite Jerome singing horribly In the background of my snap vids. Sam sounded amazing!😩 I miss him..this was a great night..it’s been awhile since I actually attended a concert. Thanks big head. When we got home that night we basically just watched random stuff Jerome wanted to watch in YouTube, mainly old whitty Hutton,& Otis Reading performances. After that got boring I went to bed..I was trying to go by myself…Jerome kept me company for awhile until I sent him off to his own room. This night of sleep was so much better! The next morning Jerome came in my room against my wishes 🙄..Then I went to get a shower and get dressed..btw this place has the worse shower ever..the bathroom was smaller than a Barbie dream house & the water was room temperature at best. We got dressed & as Jerome was gathering his things I went around to take pictures of the joint. Jerome started to act like he was mad I took a picture of his messy room..I was like 🤷🏿‍♀️ it’s not really your room bro..nobody cares. After that I went and watched YouTube videos..correction, part of a your idea video..then I was rushed out. We had to be out by 11 & it was barely 9:30am..but Jerome was ready to go. So we left..Jerome with an attitude walked us a block past the bus stop all salty..didn’t make a peep the whole journey home. Turns out he wasn’t mad about the picture..he just didn’t want to admit to it after the 100 times I kept bringing it up. He’s not that easy to upset..& he's just a lame guy like all the others. Anyway since then my July has been down hill 😄
