EQUALITY IS THE NEW BLACK - although initially accepted by curators of the MANIFEST EQUALITY art show, because it could instigate art discourse—was pulled last minute by the sponsors moveon.org and not shown. There were two pieces pulled from the show due to their ‘provocative nature’, and this piece was one of them. I was surprised by the censorship of such a liberal watchdog. I'll take it as a compliment :)

COLOR BARS was a media piece displayed on a flat screen, MOS as part of the MANIFEST EQUALITY art show.

It was a free do-it-yourself publishing platform where users could make their own websites, network, get statistics, create slideshows and share user generated, as well as published content. Uber’s verticals included photography, music, style and social media.
