===== NOTES ===== Throughout the Safe Haven, you can find various Key Pieces just like in Deltarune, three to be exact. And after sparing or defeating Seam, they will give you the 4th piece and fix the key if you have all the previous pieces. With it, you can unlock the gate in between Seam's Seap and The Great Door to confront Jevil. The first "Off Script Boss" of RUDE RUNNER. The way to defeat him is exactly like og DELTARUNE. Either ACT to get him TIRED, then use Pacify. Or just beat him up. And depending on what you did, you get a different piece of armor or weapon: Weapon: DevilsSword (+16 AT, BusterCost Down) Armor: JevilsTail (+2AT, +2DF, +2MG)

===== NOTES ===== Seam will not let Susie leave due to fear that her indulging the other Darkners in false hope would make them go just as crazy as an... old acquaintance. To win the fight peacefully, you must use various acts to increase their Mercy Meter, however, all acts will result in 0% once their meter reaches 50%. However, just like in regular Deltarune, spamming SPARE on an enemy who's name isn't yellow also increases their Mercy Meter despite no acts being used.

==NOTES== If you do go behind the counter when Seam is not looking, you will find yourself in a long corridor, which leads to a great door leading outside the Safe Haven. But also is right next to a prison cell. Seam stops you before you can interact with neither.

===== NOTES ===== Seam's seap is not only Toriel's home replacement. But also the first shop in Rude Runner. Simply interact with the counter and Seam will come back to sell you items or equipment. Just do not try going behind the counter to leave... seriously. You may also find a ReviveMint in the seap, which acts as the ButtsPie, since it fully heals Susie to max HP

===== NOTES ===== Pretty standard Gameover screen. All there is to say is that if you choose to give up, instead of the game closing, or you being brought back to the title screen, instead your soul will shatter, the connection between You and Susie disappears, and all that remains is Susie lying there in an empty void until you decide to close the game.

===== NOTES ===== The Weather Duo replace Nasptablook as the Safe Haven miniboss. The most optimal way of ending the fight is by acting and getting the fight done quickly, because attacking is simply wasting your time, for both of them have RIDICULOUSLY high HP. And even if you go through with attacking, the fight would automatically end after 12 turns. You may have noticed their outfits are oddly similar to that of a certain CRT. That is because in the Darker World, many Darkners found Tenna's shows annoying, but adored Elnina's and Lanino's weather report, due to their unconditional love, which served as a form of hope in their times of need. So much so that the Weather Duo were able to branch off from Tenna's show and become stars of their own. And as a last jab at their terrible ex-boss, they dress up like him, since they know he hates copycats. Susie encounters them for the first time in the midway point of the Safe Haven, where they are reporting on the weather anomalies in the area.

===== NOTES ===== I already went over the combat and options Susie has in Dense Manual. So instead here's a little lore on the enemies of the Safe Haven. Despite looking like it, the Darkners from here are NOT Titan Spawn. They already looked like this in their original Dark World due to the Pure Darkness their fountain had. Despite that, they are very afraid of leaving the Safe Haven, due to being mistaken for Spawns and being pursued, giving another reason why this area is called Safe Haven.

SM: *And secondly… well, it actually might take a while still S: *Goddamit. Isn't there like, a shortcut or something? SM: *…now that you mention it, yes. SM: *Over here, see this very obvious climbable part. SM: *The path after it should be shorter than just walking straight to it. S: *Oh, cool. S: *…but um, I don't know how to climb. SM: *Of course you don't, you don't have these! [YOU ACQUIRED THE CLAIMB CLAWS.] S: *Oh, sweet! S: *Wait, what about you? SM: *Hee hee… I have my ways. SM: *This sick world always has its ways. SM: *Go along now. It's quite the Tall Climb. Hee hee hee… SU: *What's so funny….

===== NOTES ===== The test of independence hallway is replaced with a VERY tall wall that doubles as the climbing tutorial, important early on, since in a hypothetical game, climbing would be a very common mechanic all throughout it, not just after a certain point in a certain area. Also, this is when Seam leaves Susie alone for the majority of the area. But don't worry, we'll see them again soon enough

Se: *That may be so, but I believe it would be better if you tried to... talk, to them. Su: *Talk... why? Se: *...I'm not actually sure. Se: *Forgive me, I'm not quite used to this role yet. Se: *Here, why don't you try it out with this non-specifically-shaped dummy? Su: *Whatever... [START BATTLE] Check: *NON-SPECIFICALLY-SHAPED DUMMY *IT IS SHAPED LIKE... NOTHING YOU REALLY RECOGNIZE. *SIMPLY TALK WITH IT TO APPEASE SEAM.

===== NOTES ===== The Ruins Dummy now becomes the Ralsei training dummy. On top of that, as a monster with a human soul. Susie has the ability to both ACT and use MAGIC ACTing works exactly as you think it does. As for MAGIC, she has: Pacify - 16% TP Rude Buster - 50% TP And after going through the Safe Haven UltimateHeal - starts out at 100% TP, but the more you use, the lower the TP cost becomes, until it reaches 32%

AND YOUR HEART HARD ENOUGH… *IT'S ALMOST LIKE THERE'S A FLICKERING LIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU… *AS IF IT WAS SECOND NATURE TO YOU, YOU REACH OUT AND… *(THE DARKNESS OF THE SAFE HAVEN SURROUNDS YOU.) *(YET YOU DECIDE TO PRESS ON, THROUGH THIS UNKNOWN WORLD…) *(THE POWER OF A NEW ADVENTURE FINDS ITS WAY TO YOU.) *(HP FULLY RESTORED.)

==== NOTES ==== For the areas of RUDE RUNNER. They'll be based on the theory that the Dark Worlds in Deltarune are based on the areas of Undertale, but in reverse order. As such, the Ruins are replaced with a hypothetical Shelter Dark World. The Safe Haven used to be full of Titan Spawns, but with the power of all Darkners combined, they were able to banish all of them away, even without a Human Soul. Thus, almost ironically, the area was named Safe Haven.

SM: *Hello? S: *… SM: *Are you dead? You have to tell me if you're dead. S: *Hggg… I'm alive, dumbass. SM: *Oh great. That's great. SM: *My, it's been so long since I've seen a Lightner in person. S: *…Lightner? SM: *Oh, right, no one explained it to you, right? S: *Not like the two people I've met have bothered to do it. 🤍My bad. S: *(Yeah shut it, freak.) SM: *Well, it's a bit difficult to explain… SM: *But in simple terms. SM: *You're from the Light World. Where there's light. Thus, you're a Lightner. SM: *While I'm from the Dark World. Where there's darkness. So I'm a Darkner. S: *I'm not four. I could've get that. SM: *Is that so, hee hee… SM: *We seemed to have gotten off the wrong foot. Let us start over. SM: *Hello. The name's Seam. Pronounced "Shawm." SM: *I come here every so often looking for items for my little Seap. Ha ha ha ha… S: *Umm, right. S: *Name's Susie. SM: *Pleased to meet you. SM: *Well, I will be going now. S: *Wait! S: *You don't, happen to know where that um, "Dark Fountain" is, right? SM: *…I may know a thing or two. But why do you care? S: *Well, I gotta kinda, seal it, or something. SM: *…Ha ha ha… is that so? SM: *Ha, good luck then. It makes no difference to me. SM: *Neither Light nor Dark hold a future for a Darkner in my condition. SM: *But, if you're serious about it… SM: *I guess I wouldn't be opposed to you following me through the Safe Haven. SM: *Very well… come along now.

== NOTES == After being defeated by the Knight. The screen fades to black, and then back to normal, with Seam, the old Haven hermit introducing themselves to Susie.

When the exile of Light and Dark occurred, Seam was the one of the few that took it surprisingly well from the get go. Simply deciding to set up Seap in the Safe Haven and keep living day by day. For they are certain that all is for naught. Either the Roaring will happen and all hope is lost. Or the Lightners will forget about them forever, and all hope is lost. But is that just an excuse to not get too attached after an old friendship was torn apart? Who's to say.

Just tell me where it is and I'll dip. [The Knight remains silent] S: *Can you even talk? [The Knight remains silent] S: *Is this a joke? Are you braindead!? S: *Answer me! [The Knight raises up their sword] S: *...heh S: *Well, if you wanna go, then bring. It. ON! [BATTLE STARTS]

==== NOTES ==== May you never come face to face with the WHITE WINGS. After the dialogue above, a fight with the Knight will start. And it's not a cutscene fight like Flowey's. It's an actual fight where you can fight, act, etc... But, this fight extremely hard. If you take more than 2 hits, you will be instantly SWOON'd... but note I said "extremely hard", not "impossible". Theoretically, you could no-hit the fight, and drain the Knight's health pool. If you do that. The Knight would use an unavoidable attack, and instantly SWOON Susie. But they would also drop the Black Shard. A weapon with 50 AT and does double damage on every enemy. So... Lock in I guess.

YOU MUST HEAD EAST, SEAL THE GRAND FOUNTAIN, AND CONCLUDE THIS EXPERIMENT. JUST REMEMBER... USE THE DIRECTION KEYS TO MOVE. Z TO INTERACT. X TO CANCEL. C TO OPEN THE MENU. AND SHIFT TO RUN. IF YOUR HP DROPS TO ZERO, YOU AND YOUR VESSEL WILL DIE. GOOD LUCK. SWEET ANGEL ABOVE.

==== NOTES ==== Before you start your adventure, you must first give the "Mysterious" narrator YOUR name. Not the name of the vessel, she already has one. Also, I probably won't have time to explain this anywhere else, so might as well. Despite us controlling Susie, she is far from a silent protagonist, and will speak to both you and the characters around her. Heck, when you first take control of her, she's scared and wondering why her body is moving on her own. At which point you'll get a bunch of single choice options:

S: *W-What is happening? Why is my body... 🤍Don't worry. 🤍It's me. S: *W-Who said that!? S: *Show up, coward! 🤍Calm down. 🤍I'm controlling your body. 🤍But I'm not gonna hurt you. 🤍I just needed a vessel. S: *Vessel... what the hell are you talking about? 🤍Look... 🤍All we need to do is head east. And seal the Dark Fountain. 🤍Once we do. I'll stop controlling you. 🤍Probably. S: *...Y'know what. Fine. S: *Take me there, I guess. S: *But you better make this quick. This is so weird...

Long ago... two constants were certain in the world. LIGHT and DARK. Each housing their own worlds and citizens. However, one day... The DARK consumed someone it should have not. With grief stuck in their heart. THE CAGE, using the HUMAN SOUL. Exiled all who resided in the DARK into a singular space. So they could never be hurt by it again. Many years later... THE GIRL. Wandering lost through the town, finds herself near the abandoned Shelter. Curiosity, has her in a choke hold. So she approaches the door, goes for the handle... but as almost if someone is letting her in. The doors open on its own. She walks into the pitch black darkness, and before she knows it... She's falling... This, is the beginning. Of something very... Very... INTERESTING.

== NOTES == This is the beginning intro for RUDE RUNNER. The images and text would be shown in the same style as the Prophecy Panels from Deltarune Ch. 4
