They are a such an important character and wow wouldn’t you know it they are a cat

That has to mean something right?? Cats being so important in this world and one of the most important and cryptic characters being a cat cannot be a coincidence

Does Seam have any associations with Friend? Do they know where all the shadow crystals are because of evil cat powers??

They haven’t done anything hostile to us but “Friend” also only healed us until chapter five so they could be seen as a real friend/ally until recently

Gerson, who gave the shard freely, not needing it since he is free from the prophecy through death.

Mad Mew Mew, who wants to live the way she likes no matter how her body (or anyone else) feels. The last secret boss.

After the wave of ACT 2, I tried revisiting what came before with Ripper's design (which I apparently haven't drawn in a year), and I accidentally created a better drawing style to follow with their design after drawing both them and IGNEO MALICE from memory like in the upper-left corner!

These more expressive versions of the characters are also somehow more consistent, even including mouth guides for Crewelle and IGNEO MALICE with examples for the number of teeth to limit them to having in any of my future art.

Ripper's updated face in particular is very good to me because it's more fluid movement is currently closer to a scrapped idea of their body moving like a liquid!
