Seeing Rubyâs reaction when Candy approached her made her chuckle, shaking her head as she looked over at her friend â Ruby was one of the few people that she would actually miss once all of this was over, so she would take any moment to hang out with her that she could; even if she was mostly busy with her boyfriend now, but it didnât matter. âI will take that as an insult! Do you think I look like Remington?â Candy teased the other with a chuckle, as she shook her head, before looking at everyone else in the hall, as she listened to what Ruby was saying â she could agree to what she was saying, mostly the part where she mentioned that she was ready for everything to end so they could move on with their lives, but even if graduation was only two months away, she knew that those two months would take forever to pass by. âPeople here are either morons or theyâre like us⌠Thereâs no in between.â She said with a small nod, before letting out a laugh when they started talking about what they would wear at graduation. Shrugging her shoulders at Rubyâs suggestion, she looked at Ruby with a smile. âI totally think you should do that⌠Think about it, all eyes would be set on you, who wouldnât want that?â She giggled, before raising her eyebrows at the otherâs question. âNope, I didnât apply anywhere. Like Iâve said many times before, college is for idiots. No offense, Iâm sure youâll be great at⌠wherever youâre going, but itâs not for me.â She said with a shrug. âIâm going to LA to be famous and thatâs my plan. Iâll get there, sing to some people, theyâll see how talented I am and Iâll get a record label. Itâs that easy.â She said with a nod.

âYouâre making points,â Ruby agreed, her gaze shifting between Candy and all of the students passing by in the hallway, âthis place is full of duds.â Ruby had to laugh when Candy agreed that she should show up to graduation in a full dominatrix outfit. âHonestly, I so would,â she joked, sighing as she leaned back against the lockers, âbut I think my dad would have a heart attack. My mom would probably be like, 'thatâs how you spell woman! z-i-z-e-s.â but dad? No chance in hell.â When Candy revealed that she hadnât applied to any colleges, Ruby furrowed her brows. She knew a higher education wasnât the only option...but Candyâs plan was...interesting. âCollege is for idiots? Really?â Ruby challenged, suddenly feeling defensive of the Ivy League degree she had yet to earn. As far as Ruby knew, going to LA and getting a record label was the exact opposite of easy. âCandy, no offense,â Ruby began, turning her body to face her friend as she crossed her arms, âbut do you have a plan b? Iâm not saying you wonât make it...but youâre a skinny white girl who sings pop songs in a glee club in Ohio. You might be a big deal here,â and even that was up for debate, despite the fact that Ruby did like Candy and considered her a friend, âbut thereâs like...a million more girls just like you in LA. And most of them probably have bigger boobs.â Boobs werenât everything, but they also werenât nothing. âArenât you the tiniest bit nervous that that plan like...wonât pan out?âÂ
