Well, if you wanted to be technical about it, the wind isn’t always quite so silent.

After the sudden thought of regret for speaking so loudly, Beth laughed under her breath. Often she forgot that people slept before midnight for the most part. “Yeah, I am. Maybe he can come with us?” She teased, resting a frail hand on the door until her companion tore her away towards the car. B could hardly see over the roof of the vehicle but that didn’t stop her from trying, looking at Ruby with a smile that would lead anyone to think she was up to no good. “I’m waiting for you to tell us where we’re going. Come on, think on your feet, Ru’.” With her door open, she perched herself of on the frame, giving her a better view over the top before she swung into the drivers seat. 

Ruby just shook her head with a laugh, forever amused by the elder’s attitude.  Beth was someone she could spend hours on end with, never growing bored of her antics.  Sliding around the side of the car, the younger flashed a grin right back, just as excited to do something -- anything -- that they shouldn’t.  “It’s my call, huh?” she paused to tug open the passenger door, sliding in with ease, “I’m gonna guess that you’re not down for a road trip to Vegas so we can elope, so how about we head toward the beach instead?”

No, I didn’t watch the basketball game. Why would I watch the basketball game when E3 is going on?

Chill out, Clifford.  Just a question, that’s all.  Was anything cool announced?

Ruby blinked once or twice at the redhead who was standing unexpectedly outside of her front door. Glancing behind herself to peer down the hall, she furrowed her eyebrows, “Girl, what is wrong with you?  Are you trying to wake up my dad?”  Nevertheless, she still leaned down to grab her shoes, slipping them on her feet without a second thought.  There was no way she was going to miss out on a joyride with Beth.  “Shoo, let’s go!”  Ruby whispered to the girl, motioning for her to step back as she quietly closed the door behind her.  Once the coast was clear, she took off for the car, pulling the elder with her, “What are we waiting for?”

Oh, I do the same thing. Yeah, I’d just like some peace and quiet for a little while. I’m almost done, though.

Consider me not even here.  I’m silent like... the wind or something.

Yeah, but like…Jamba Juice boys are different. All healthy with their kale smoothies and shit. Kale’s disgusting, but you get what I’m saying.

I’ve got work till five. Would you be able to swing by the Urban Outfitters after my shift? We can study at the Jamba Juice or something. Hot guys lurk in there all the time. Some eye candy while we work.

I think there will be more than enough eye candy for me no matter where we go.  But yeah, I can do that.

Monday. Exactly a week from now.
