i also desperately want a kiss next episode but there’s something so special about how, despite all the sex lestat has had this season, just being near louis felt like the most intimate he’s been with someone. i think it really says something that lestat, a survivor of sexual assault, has learned to use his body as a defense mechanism (like with armand) or as a bargaining chip (like with gabi) but he doesn’t feel the need to do that with louis. his desire for louis is a genuine vulnerable feeling, not a performance like it usually is for others idk idk

gotta give it to Robert he really nailed the "I'm holding back on sucking your blood and that makes me suffer" face throughout the whole movie
