A TimeOut Chicago “Critics’ Pick” (2013 Chicago Improv Festival) and 2012 “Best Duo nominee” by Improvisation News, Ruby Marez and Binu Paulose celebrate their five year anniversary as RuBin!

This show will be special because this will be our last show in NYC before Ruby moves to Los Angeles in December.

Dear Baltimore,

Miss us?  Don't fret - we're coming over & staying in your city this weekend for some shows & a workshop!  

RuBin performs 2 shows this weekend, starting tonight!  First, we'll be performing at the Baltimore Theater Project (45 W. Preston St.) as part of the Baltimore Improv Festival at 7pm with 2 other terrific groups, Population: Six & Sister Act!  Tickets for the show are $10!

Second, we'll be playing at Zissimos Bar (1023 W. 36th Street) tomorrow night at 8pm as part of the Charm City Comedy Project!  The show is FREE!

Finally, Ruby will be teaching an improv workshop on Sunday morning at Zissimos Bar called "Do-Si-Do" from 11am-2pm!  This workshop will focus on discovering and building intimacy on stage, whether you have worked with your partner for years, or whether you just met them. Come with a performer you know, or come alone – and we will partner you up with someone else from the class!  The cost of the workshop is $30 - register for it here!

The super talented Ruby Marez has a funny solo show this Monday, 7pm at the Magnet Theater called "Hot Mess"!  See her get her s**t together one piece at a time...eventually.

After a 2 year run of Couples' Retreat and RuBin's Dinner Party, we're sad to announce that we'll be hosting our final show at the Peoples' Improv Theater (PIT) tomorrow night  That said, we're going out with a BANG!  The always amazing, luminous & brilliant improv god Christina Gausas(Diaz & Gausas, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone) will be performing with us!  In addition to that, we're bringing our favorite bluegrass band from Brooklyn - IBEX - back for a wonderful acoustic jam!  Their songs will make you laugh and cry and smile at the fact that great music is not dead!

So if you haven't come out to see it this would be your last chance! And this is not a show to be missed!

Honestly, we couldn't be more excited about tonight's show!

It's our 1st show back after the Chicago Improv Festival & we can't wait to host tonight's Dinner Party!

Tonight, we're super excited to have the band IBEX perform a few songs!  If you're a fan of bluegrass, folksy music sung from the soul & jammed out, you're gonna love this trio!  Also check out their website to hear their stuff!

Improv duo Bad Intentions (Elke Reid and Giovanni Vargas) will also be joining us to bring their duo improv goodness (or in this case, wickedness).
