Finished the Gulf Beach Half Marathon in1:57:15 (9:02 min./mile). A little slower than what I had hoped to finish but I at least ran a sub-2 hour half marathon and got this awesome medal! #CantStopWontStop (at Gulf Beach)

The medal on the left is the official VT City Marathon Medal, which finally arrived in the mail today, 2 months after I finished the Vermont City Marathon & left Burlington, VT without a medal, feeling like I failed. The medal on the right was given to me by @onedanaatatime a few days after the marathon. I still like @onedanaatatime's better. #stillfeellikeawinner

I got this PS2 game from Ruby last night. The next day Hulk Hogan is outed as a racist a-hole. I also picked up a copy of the Steven Soderbergh film "Out of Sight" w/ George Clooney & Jennifer Lopez. All I'm saying to George Clooney, J-Lo & Soderbergh: better come out with the truth NOW or be vilified forever! #iamcursed

Trackwork Thursday: 1x1600, then 4x800 repeats. Definitely felt faster after the 1600 repeat as I ran a 6:47. 800 repeats: 3:17, 3:19, 3:16, 3:20. Felt a little inspired by seeing the dedication just outside the track. #progress #CantStopWontStop (at Glen Cove High School Track)

Tempo Thursday: 35 minute tempo run in Huntington, mainly because it's a little hillier in my town of Oyster Bay. Started at a 9:03 min/mile pace for the first 5 minutes then gradually increased my speed, ran for 20 minutes between 8:10-8:26, then slowed the last 10 minutes to a 8:45 min/mile. The heat was brutal but I did it. (at Huntington, Long Island NY)

Ran the Sunken Meadow Park 5k race this morning - expected to finish in 32:48. Ran a 24:35 & finished 2nd in my age group! #stillgotit (at Sunken Meadow State Park)
