Hey Guys

I’ve been dealing with a problem recently and I need to spread the word.

There are people out there on here, Twitter, archive of our own, fanfiction, and other sites that are begging people to commission them for whatever reason.

I gotten some that’ll say that they read or seen what I have, will want to draw it or something, and to contact them on discord or something.

But the problem is, when you go on their accounts, they don’t have anything they’ve written or drawn.

They’re just luring you to get money out of you.

And when you try to turn them down, whether or not it’s in a polite way, sometimes they’ll get mean or keep getting pushy with their questions even if you say no.

This is what happened to me just a little while ago and I won’t reveal the name.

These are a few other examples when I was on fanfiction. I crossed out the names and their social media accounts so I won’t be accused of name-dropping.

I told him I wasn’t interested, but they kept asking me questions until I told him to stop and they got a little upset with me and blocked me before I could block them back.

Of course, I did block them because they were rude. I think they’re just mad that I wasn’t fooled.

Sometimes more and more will just keep coming until it drives you crazy.

That’s basically the reason why I left fanfiction.net because I keep getting private messages and comments about people doing the same thing.

I’ve actually met real commissioners out there who are honest and actually do real work. If you look up the scammer, you’ll see they never did any real work and only just want your money.

All I’m asking is for everyone out there is to be careful.

There are actually good artists and commissioners out there we do amazing work and it’ll be well worth the money.

But there are people who will try to trick you just like with those phone scammers.
