apparently I'm a beloved and memorable customer at a bunch of stores and I didn't even know?????

I had uni break up until very recently, so I've only just started returning to certain shops that are nearer to uni than to my house, and in the past few weeks I've had staff members THREE SEPARATE TIMES AT THREE DIFFERENT STORES delighted to see me back?? telling me they missed me???? asking about me??? one staff member at an op shop I frequent gave me a bag of vintage mlp for free because she remembered I love them????

strangers and acquaintances notice when you're not there. you might be someone's favourite customer, even if they don't think to say it. I reckon that's wonderful.
