Mark Grayson x Reader with Asthma Headcanons
• Mark would 100% keep a spare inhaler for you, just in case you forgot yours. He'd never make a big deal out of it either—it would just quietly live in his backpack or jacket pocket because he'd rather be prepared than risk not having one when you need it.
• If you didn't grow up with asthma and were still learning how to manage it, Mark would learn right alongside you. He'd want to understand how your inhaler works, what your triggers are, and what to do during an attack so you never have to figure it out alone.
• After seeing you have a really bad asthma attack that ended with you being hospitalized, Mark would spend hours researching asthma and learning how to help during an emergency. He'd ask questions, listen to your doctors, and make sure he knew exactly how to support you without taking away your independence.
• If asthma made you give up something you loved, like running or swimming, Mark would hate seeing you blame yourself for it. He'd help you find new hobbies or activities you could enjoy at your own pace, reminding you that your asthma doesn't define who you are.
• If you got really emotional after an asthma attack, Mark wouldn't rush you to "feel better." He'd wrap you up in a hug, tell you that everything was okay, and stay with you for as long as you needed. He wouldn't let go until you were ready to.
🤍 I actually wrote these after having an asthma attack today because I really needed some comfort, and maybe someone else out there needs it too. 🫂
