A - Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Corvus desperately wants to show you affection. He wants you to have no doubt as to how much he adores you, and he also needs a way to outwardly express his love lest it eats him alive from the inside. Though his life growing up was hard, he did have pretty decent support from the slave village that had adopted him, so unlike some of his brothers he's not totally unfamiliar with affection and how to show it- Corvus just doesn't know how he should show it to you. He tries though. Throne, does he try. He tries to compliment you, even though it often always comes out sounding a bit awkward. He lays his hand on your shoulder or back, though the movement will be stiff, like he fully expects you to flinch away from him. As time goes on, however, and he gets more practiced at it, he will also become more comfortable, and his gestures of affection will become more natural.

B - Best friend (What are they like as a friend? How would the friendship start?)

At risk of sounding contrived, Corvus would 100% that one edgy, emo/goth coded friend who on the outside is kinda dark and fucked up, but in reality, is the chillest person you know. Sure, he only ever wears black and is just a little too obsessed with ravens and crows and darkness and such, but you could spend hours just shooting the shit with him. And if you were ever in a pinch, no matter the type, he'll be by your side in an instant. Say you're having a rough patch and you're in bed having a cry; Corvus would absolutely just emerge from the shadows of your room with a cup of your favourite tea or coffee in one hand and a blanket in the other, like an emotional-support-demon summoned by your state of distress.

C - Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Corvus is touch-starved. Physical touch is his love language, but he doesn't know that until he meets you. Once he realises it, though, all he wants is to have you close to him. At times, it's almost to the point of clingyness. His favourite ways to cuddle are spooning you from behind or holding you against his chest, with your head tucked up under his chin. He could stay like that for hours. When you try to get up, he will always protest by squeezing you tighter and groaning his discontent.

D - Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Corvus is unsure what a domestic life might look like for him. He grew up amongst slaves, spent most of his early life as a freedom fighter for those slaves, and then he was recovered by the Emperor and made into a tool of war. All he's really known is danger and instability (and darkness of course). But if you were interested in settling down, he would be keen to give it a try. Like everything he does, his efforts at domestic life are as awkward as they are earnest. He does chores enthusiastically, but at times he might do them wrong, and when he does he's terrified that he has upset or disappointed you. But you'll take him by the hand, maybe even hug him if need be, and while stifling a giggle, tell him he has done nothing of the sort.

E - Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Oh, Throne. Poor Corvus. He's one of the few primarchs where breaking up with him wouldn't actively ruin your life (i.e he won't kill or threaten the other people you try to have relationships with and he's not going to harass you with trying to convince you to take him back). But he'll never get over you. And someway or anything, he'll always be watching you- from a safe distance, far enough away that you wouldn't even know he's there, just to make sure you're still safe and happy. But don't get it twisted, babes. His heart is broken, and it will never, ever repair. Not in a hundred years, not in a thousand. You will forever be the wound that refuses to heal.

F - Fiancé (How to they feel about commitment? How quickly would they want to get married?)

Corvus would like the idea of marriage and absolutely want to commit to you, but he's afraid you don't feel the same about him. You'll have to convince him that this couldn't be further from the truth, and even after you've married, you'll have to remind him on a regular basis.

G - Gentle (How gentle are they? Both physically and emotionally?)

His angst and awkwardness aside, Corvus strikes me as the sort of man who is naturally quite gentle with those he cares for. And with his lover, this is doubly true.

He's a natural listener, and his capacity for empathy is far greater than even he realises. Physically, his touch is as soft as a feather. He likes to hold you tight, but it's never enough to feel crushing. He can pick you up with enormous strength, but you always feel safe and secure in his arms.

H - Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it and what is it like?)

Hugs are Corvus' favourite way of showing and receiving affection. Not in front of others, mind you, but privately, behind closed doors. Whenever he gets the chance, he's got his arms around you. Grabbing you from behind while you're standing and pulling you into his chest. Always greeting you with a fierce embrace because every time he sees you, he's grateful that you're alive and here with him. Like I said earlier, he's a touch-stavered man whose love language is physical touch. That makes him clingy. If he could, he'd be holding you all the time

I - I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It would take time, I think. Corvus doesn't trust easily or naturally, and it would take him a lot of time and heartache to figure out what he's feeling for you and the implications of it. When he does confess it'd be in a moment of passion or high emotion. An example might be right after the Dropsite Massacre, where he's overwhelmed with grief and rage, when he sees you, the only good thing he feels he has left in his life, he knows he must confess his love for fear of losing you, too.

J - Jealous (How jealous do they get? What are they like when they're jealous?)

Corvus has a small tendency to be jelaous, but it isn't because he doesn't trust you. It's because of his own insecurities. This is particularly true about those of his brothers who are more conventionally attractive i.e Sangy, Fulgrim and to a degree, Guilliman and Vulkan. This might manifest as a possessive edge that involves always touching or holding you and constantly referring to you as "his."

K - Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

At first, they're nervous and tentative. He's never kissed anyone before. And while he's almost bursting with affection and physical desire for you, he's still figuring out how to show it. He's also petrified of accidentally hurting or spooking you. Once he gets the hang of it, though, Corvus kisses with a slow, sensual passion. He wants to taste you, to feel you. He wants to take the feeling of your lips pressed against his and squeeze every ounce of sensation out of it.

L - Little Ones (How are they around children?)

Corvus tries to be good with children- part of me thinks that he even wants to be good with kids- but he struggles with it. He's perfectly gentle with them, and no parent should ever be fearful for their kid's safety when they're with him, Corvus just doesn't know what to do. How is he supposed to talk to them? Like a dog? Like small adult humans? Or what about when they ask him to play, what is he supposed to do then? He's a Primarch, for Throne's sake, why would children be interested in playing with him? All of this makes him incredibly awkward and nervous. But to you, it's about the most adorable thing you've ever seen.

M - Mornings (How are morning spent with them?)

Corvus is rarely around when you wake up. Like a phantom, he vanishes some time long before you wake without you even noticing to make you breakfast, do chores and generally help set you up for the day.

N - Nights (How are nights spent with them?)

It's not every night that Corvus is there with you, what with all the warring and crusading and such. But when he is, he makes a real event of it. You'll have dinner together, maybe even share a bath or a shower. Then, you'll cuddle up in bed, him either spooning you from behind or tucking you safely into his side where you use his chest as a pillow.

O - Openess (When will they start revealing things about themselves? Do they reveal things slowly over time or all at once?)

Corvus struggles with emotional openess. He's been through a lot, and the Horus Heresy- particularly the Dropsite Massacre on Ishtavan, where he almost lost the entirety of his legion- were especially traumatic for him. He's used to bottling it up and channeling it into warfare, but very quickly he learns that those strategies do not work in a relationship. But Corvus is not prideful, nor is he emotionally unintelligent. With your support he'll realise he needs to share this stuff, and you'll be the only person he trusts to do it.

P - Patience (How easily are they angered?)

One of the most important things in being good at stealth is patience. So, naturally, seeing as Corvus excels at the former, he also excels at the latter. You'll never get a rise out of him, even if you tried. Even if the stress and pain of the galaxy and the things it has put him through is overwhelming every other part of his being, Corvus will never, ever raise his voice at you nor utter a hurtful word to you.

Q - Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail or do they forget the minor things?)

Corvus remembers everything you tell him. He also knows things about you that you never told him. He just seems to... know things. To know you. Like he can read your mind.

R - Remember (What's their favourite memory of the relationship?)

The first time you made him laugh. It mightve been a totally trivial thing- maybe you'd told him some funny anecdote or laughed yourself at something he or someone else had said. Whatever it was, that moment lives rent free in Corvus' head. Even in the lore, he is known for his brooding sterness. In one book, he is described as being so serious-looking, it's also to the point of characterture. So to have a baseline human break that visage- and so effortlessly, at that- left a lasting impression on him.

S - Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Corvus is deeply protective of you, but before putting any measures into place, he would ask for your consent first. Out of all the primarchs, his protectiveness is also the least intrusive on your life. Not because he's any less protective, but because his inhuman affinity for stealth means you don't notice his efforts. You've always got a squad of space marines near you, but you never see them, nor does anyone you're with know that they are there.

T - Try (How much effort do they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts and everyday tasks?)

Just like domestic life, Corvus' attempts to do dates, gifts and anniversaries are awkward and earnest. He gets better every time he does it, though. Figuring out what works and what doesn't, learning the things you like and ways you most enjoy spending your time. The effort he'll put in is immense. But you will tell him that when it comes to dates and anniversaries, all you want to do is to spend the day with him. No matter what you're doing or where you are: if you're with him, you're the happiest person alive. Learning this makes him... bashful, shall we say? His impossibly pale skin would flush red and he'd avert his eyes, saying that he's humbled and surprised by your confession. Overwhelmed by how cute he is in that moment, you drag him into a fierce hug and kiss him passionately on the lips.

U - Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

I eluded to it earlier, but Corvus' main bad habit is clingyness. Most of the time it's sweet, but sometimes it can get smothering or overwhelming. When you tell him this is how you feel, Corvus is mortified. Because how did he not realise? How could he let himself make you feel like this? You are quick to reassure him, however. You tell him you're not angered or upset, just that you'd appreciate if he made an effort to address your concerns.

V - Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Corvus knows how... unnatural he appears, what with his translucent skin and blacked out eyes. He's accepted himself for this, but that doesn't stop him from being quite shocked to learn you find him attractive. After that, he starts putting quite some effort into his appearance. One, because he wants to look good for his spouse. And two, because he's no longer just accepting of his strange appearance, but he takes pride in it.

W - Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Without a shadow (haha, get it ;)) of a doubt. The pair of you are like yin and yang. Perfect together, and incomplete when you are apart.

X - Xtra (A random head cannon for them)

Corvus is an animal person. Not just birds, but every kind of critter. Snakes, spiders, cats, dogs, horses, foxes- you name it, and Corvus loves the idea of having it as a pet. I know it's a cliche, but he's absolutely the kind of person who is more at home around animals than people. He finds them calming, and he admires their capacity for simple, unconditional love. He's also a bit of an animal whisperer. Seems that every animal he encounters, be they pets or wild, love him at first sight.

Y - Yuck (What are some things they wouldn't like in a partner, or in general?)

Corvus would struggle with someone who was extremely boisterous, loud or abrasive. He's an introvert. He's used to shadows and working alone. Having a partner who was somewhat his opposite, he might enjoy. But too much, and he'd find it frustrating and overwhelming.

Z - Zzz (What are some sleeping habits of theirs?)

A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)

Absolute aftercare king. You will have to tell him what you need, and guide him through as he does it, but in terms of intention and effort, Corvus is the best.

After that, he is a total cuddlebug. Even if you're both hot and sweaty from your love-making, he will be wrapping you in his arms and squeezing you tight. Like he can't believe you're actually here. Like he can't believe that of all the men you could have chosen to be your lover, you chose him.

B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)

Corvus is an ass and thigh man. Seeing you in a miniskirt or skin right pants gets him absolutely flustered. And when he eventually takes you, he will be gripping your backside and kneading your thighs as if desperate for their feeling.

C = Cum (anything to do with cum, basically)

Corvus isn't a fan of mess. He would never want to make you feel sullied or degraded. Conversely, he doesn't like feeling that way himself.

D = Dirty secret (pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)

Corvus has this fantasy that he keeps from you where he's a hunter and you're his prey. I think this because a) stealth missions often involve hunting targets, so it seems he already enjoys and has an affinity for hunting, b) the eventual warp-shenanigans that turn him into a half-man, half-raven daemon-hunting beast. Makes me think he's got an animal streak in him. Not a huge one, but enough that in the privacy of his own thoughts, it comes out to play.

E = Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?)

Zilch. Nothing. None at all. This, of course, isn't unusual for the primarchs (pretty sure Fulgrim and Russ are the only ones who have previous experience tbh), but Corvus is part of the group that has even less than usual. Honestly, it's 50/50 whether he even knows anything about sex, and if he does, it's the most basic, if not the slightly inaccurate sorts of stuff. It's never concerned him before. But after meeting you and realising the direction your relationship was taking, it becomes a massive point of insecurity for him. But, of course, you reassure there's no need for that. You don't judge him, nor does it make you any less eager to be intimate with him. If anything, it ends up making you more eager. Because with his lack of experience combined with his utter devotion to trying to be the best partner he possible can, it very quickly it becomes clear that Corvus is one of, if not the most receptive fastest-learning lover you've ever had.

F = Favorite position (this goes without saying)

As mentioned above, Corvus has next to zero experience with sex, and paired with his natural awkwardness, it isn't something he feels confident in. So, when you're having sex, he loves it when you take charge. Specifically, he loves it when you ride him. Grinding your hips against his, nails clawing into his chest and abs, utterly dominant and in control. Corvus finds you beautiful anyway, but in those moments, he finds you magnificent.

G = Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.)

In the moment, there's not even a hint of humour or goofiness with Corvus. Ever. Doesn't matter if you're giggling or cracking wise, when Corvus is taking you, he is absolutely locked in.

H = Hair (how well groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes? etc.)

Corvus has a decent smattering of hair, but he keeps it very well trimmed. It's the same shade and texture as the hair on his head: feather soft and raven black.

I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)

Intimacy is essential for Corvus. Without it, sex feels hollow for him. Just a physical act with none of the stuff that makes it pleasurable. Corvus needs to feel loved. He needs you to feel loved, too, if not for your sake then for his own peace of mind.

J = Jack off (masturbation headcanon)

Pre-relationship, he doesn't even know what masterbation is. So as your relationship develops into romance, one can only imagine how... uncomfortable poor Corvus gets sometimes when he doesn't have you to satiate him. He's loathe to tell you any of this, though- he's afraid that you judge him for his lack of experience anyway (even though you absolutely DO NOT and you tell him this ALL THE TIME!). So, he probably ends up either figuring something out on his own, or going to Sanguinius (because he's the least likely to give Coco crap for it)

K = Kink (one or more of their kinks)

I can see Corvus having a bit of a praise kink. He can be so unsure of himself in your relationship, is often so self-critical of his awkwardness, that just a little bit of praise, either whispered in his ear or cried out in ecstasy, will absolutely send him. This is great for you, too. Because not only does your praise turn Corvus on, it gives him confidence. And when he's feeling confident, he's fucking you so much harder. There's also, of course, the aforementioned hunter role play described back up in D.

L = Location (favorite places to do the do)

As long as it is someplace quiet, private and comfortable, Corvus is happy. So, naturally, this makes his favourite place your shared bed. He's not against couch sex, however, so long as there's no chance of anyone accidently walking in on you two.

M = Motivation (what turns them on, gets them going)

When you tease him and when he sees you wearing something particularly promiscuous or skimpy (which, really, is just another form of teasing if you think about it).

N = No (something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)

Bondage, because of his upbringing amongst a slave community, therefore making things like restraints, cuffs and chains things he associates with torture, oppression and pain. Anything that involves physically overpowering or hurting you, too e.g choking, blood play, knife play etc, because never ever could he associate hurting or endangering you with pleasure.

O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)

Absolutely, this man is a giver over a receiver. And while he will need instruction on how to do it, once he's learned Corvus will join the ranks of the pussy-eating kings along with Sangy.

Slow and sensual, absolutely. Corvus can do fast and rough if you ask him to, but this man is so concerned with not wanting to hurt you that even when he's trying to be "rough", it's still some of the most gentle, tender love-making you've ever experienced.

Corvus isn't a fan of quickies at all. He always takes sex seriously, your pleasure even more so. He'll never skip foreplay, nor aftercare, and that means he needs all the time in order to treat you right.

At first, Corvus isn't super into the idea of risk taking or experimenting. For him, such things are only opportunities to potentially hurt you or dissatisfy you. But, once you two have been together for a while, and you have built him up to be more confident and sure on himself, Corvus would eventually be open with experimentation. It would almost 100% be led by you, however. It is rare that Corvus will suggest something he wants to try- frankly, he's just glad to be here.

S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)

Corvus has primarch-stamina: he could literally go all nights.

T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)

For obvious reasons, Corvus doesn't own toys- I doubt he even knows what they are. He would absolutely use yours on you though, if you were to show him how.

U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)

I don't see Corvus being a tease at all. Conversely, though, he'd would be very susceptible to teasing from you. Just a tiniest little but of suggestiveness from you, be it a touch it or a whispered word, and you'll have this man absolutely flustered.

V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)

Corvus would start out pretty quiet, little more than ragged breathing, due to self consciousness and generally feeling a bit uncertain. But once he's got some confidence (and if you tell him you find it hot when he makes noise), Corvus is pretty damn loud. Ironic, considering he's the lord of stealth. But this man enjoys you way too much to keep it to himself. Sounds include moaning, growling and, if he's feeling particularly clingy or needy, maybe a whimper or too.

W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)

Not really a headcanon for Corvus himself, and more like a headcanon for you as Corvus' lover: Corvus has a ridiculously hot voice. I mean, it always sounds hot, but when you're in bed together, it hits different. While you're either mounted on his hips or splayed out underneath him, hearing him moan your name into your ear, his typically deep and husky voice made gravelly and cracking from the overwhelming feeling of his pleasure... It's enough to send you over the edge.

X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)

Corvus isn't as broad or sturdily built as some of his other brothers, but he's still got the body of a primarch. Sculpted, well proportioned and big.

Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)

Before meeting you, Corvus' sex drive was all but non-existent. But his first time in you definately awoke something in him. His sex drive couldn't be considered "high" by normal standards, but compared to what it was before? Yeah. He definitely yearns for you.
