Hi hi! I just went into the site this morning and am getting "Service Unavailable" errors when I try to load any RPs, log in, or even try to reset my password. (Everything was up and fine before I went to sleep around midnight EDT.)

Any info on what's going on? My friends and I use the site almost daily and appreciate it so much. ❤️ Thank you!!

10 Years of RPNow

We're actually a bit overdue, the 10 year anniversary was in April... It's actually been over 10 and a half years now.

I mainly made this website so I could write stories with my best friend (now my wife of 8 years!) and was surprised to find that so many others would enjoy using it too. Today, I'm still surprised to see that many people still enjoy using this little tool. Amazing!

Here's to 10 more years! What will RPNow look like in 2035? Probably about the same as it looks right now. Please look forward to it:)

Tiniest RPNow Update

Hi! I wanted to use the site myself again and found myself annoyed with how much space the title and page navigation were taking up on the page. So I moved them into the menu.

HI, me and some friends used to use RPnow religiously and we recently found the site in it's current state and wanted to be sure it's still the same person who used was making it all and if it is. thanks for continuing your hard work and hows the family?

Yep it's still me. The site may be a bit different than you remember (mainly that it now uses logins) but it still works basically the same. We're doing well, thanks for asking:)

RPNow Notifications on iPhones!

Great news! If you use RPNow on an iPhone, you can now get push notifications directly from RPNow!

First, update iOS to 16.4 or later.

Then, you'll need to add RPNow to your phone's home screen. Open RPNow from that homescreen app.

Finally, log in, and then enable push notifications from any RP. And it should start working!

I can see you answering things, so I had a couple of questions about features I would enjoy seeing: tagging, sorting (alphabetically ideally), and the ability to write a summary of the RP underneath each RP listed. If these aren't possible, I understand, but I think they'd be really useful. If you want to say *why* they won't work, that'd be cool to know but you don't have to. Cheers!

Like on the main home dashboard of rpnow.net? I can see how it would be helpful if you have lots of RP's. (I only have about 5 total personally.) How many do you have?

It's definitely possible, though I haven't actually worked on improving RPNow in years. Maybe I will someday!

Hi! I have not seen this site before. Is it solely connecting with friends you already know, or is there a way to connect to RPers otherwise? Such as prompts, or visible accounts, characters, etc.

Hey, just found this again recently, and wanted to say that I'm super psyched to see you brought it back. RPNow was the bridge from being curious to rp's to actually getting involved in them, and I had a lot of great memories using the site in high school and college, and then later self hosting. Hope to get a chance to use the new version soon.
