It’s very tiring that Antis use the same bullshit reasons to downplay our admiration to him. They kinda forget the player helped Astarion to ascend.

But keep very quiet when Tav becomes Bhaal’s Chosen, a rise in power.

So why are we bitching at Astarion getting powers?

Just say you don’t like vampires acting like vampires.

It’s pretty annoying seeing the same reason told by every other antis. Can you find other reasons why you hate AA?

The same excuse is very tiring and annoys a lot of regular fans.

They need to heal and leave the fandom alone. How about making content, REAL fan content with that energy instead of creating drama? this is absurd.

The schizophrenic person is more sane than the fanbase of a fictional vampire in a video game.

Like I said it before, Ascended Astarion is not Sadako Yamamura. He cannot crawl out of your screen to hurt you.

Why am I suddenly reminded of Elly from MissDrama in this post? Elly tried to take down a forum down because of one disagreement on feminism.

Remember, she’s doing this victim complex OVER A FICTIONAL VAMPIRE’S ROLE IN A VIDEO GAME.

Three years and we still can’t disagree with each other because morons like her thinks everyone should enjoy Spawn Astarion.

That’s not how RPGs works. That’s not how D&D vampires work.

Fuh, going back to playing The Last Faith. 2D style PS5 game that is easier than Bloodborne and has free DLC this year.

I like how you Anons basically try to downplay people actually liking Ascendant Astarion and are trying to find proof that AA isn’t a total asshole.

Ascendant Astarion is not like Sadako Yamamura. He can’t hurt you physically.

It's 23 or so minutes on YouTube and a fun summary. He says the dark kiss came up but he wasn't thinking about it when writing the romance, but he can't speak for other writer working on the scenes. If it's there it's definitely not a one to one thing.

He also never calls romancing AA a nightmare. He does say it's an inherently uneven power dynamic and that in ascending Astarion is trying to recreate the shitty dynamics he experienced but putting himself at the top this time. He said AA doesn't love Tav but that he thinks he does. But he does need them way down here, and then he gestured broadly to the floor.

He also said people can headcanon whatever they want, so, if you want to think AA and Tav have a healthy dynamic, you can do that.

He also talks a bit about how he was very specifically trying not to reference other Faerun vampires or their lore too heavily.

I’m using this reference.

It’s just, so many people assume AA relationship with Tav is abusive.

Yet seeing videos, he’s a very consent person.

I still dunno after 3 years, people are still bitching about AA.

IN A VIDEO GAME RPG.

I take meds daily. These folks call me crazy when they bitch on us looking at Ascended Astarion as we’re perverts and deserve abuse.

Goddamn. It’s been zero days since there wasn’t a person bitching on Ascended Astarion in said tag. None of the fans of the other BG3 characters gets hate for ascending into powerful roles, so why must Ascendant Astarion should be a cautionary tale?

So pre-ordered the Astarion eBook and Audiobook off Kobo’s website for my eReader.

Next month, I plan to pre-order the physical copy at Indigo bookstore.

I had a pleasant birthday and I bought a few things off Amazon to show up tomorrow.

I am leftover with cheesecake from a Greek bakery.

Before ever thinking about playing BG3, I found some Astarion clips that fell into my algorithm on YouTube.

You have this vampire spawn that been tormented for centuries, begged every gods to free him, is sexual repulse if the player only see him as eye candy, and was only freed when mind flayers abducted him.

Then when he talks about the ritual and doing it with the player’s help, I felt no guilt while watching it. I felt his ascending, he finally overcame his abuser. He no longer has to hide from the sun no more.

I am very vocal when I see some Spawn fans expressing their displeasure of Ascended Astarion tag. It fucken annoyed me. I just want Ascended Astarion pics for references.

I wished I can overcome the person who sexually assaulted me as a tween. So I find Astarion’s ascended ending as a personal victory. If it can make him happy, I want to keep him happy.

I have no issues with Spawn ending. I watch someone doing their modern take of Spawn AU.

To keep me happy about Astarion, I tend to do drawings of him on my iPad through Procreate App and I sleep with the YouToonz plush each night.

So yeah. I loved @iamkittybg3 videos and I fave most of them on my YouTube likes.

That’s why I prefer Ascendant Astarion. Fuck Cazadork.
