i don't plan to make anything new for blush blush.

while i've adored the game and characters for years, the response given did not ease any of my concerns. the admittance that generative ai will be used for character concepts alone gives way to more concerns. this removes the human aspect of character creation. even if they are redrawn by an artist, the concept is not their own.

beyond this, generative ai is harmful to the environment. this, it seems, is not a notable concern for mio. my trust will not be rebuilt by saying you do not plan to replace anyone on the team (but will use generative ai) without addressing the active damage at the core of this issue.

tldr; the reddit post addressing this issue only gave me more concerns.
