Four years ago I wrote a compilation of support tools for roleplay; I haven't updated the archive in many years, but the thoughts contained within and the tools in the collection are still just as valuable I think. Most of them are widely used in the ttrpg sphere, some are specific to larp, some are things I wrote myself based on my experience working with young people.

There are a LOT of resources in the tabletop field that provide an introduction to safety tools, what they are, and how to use them. There aren't nearly as many that delve into the deeper questions of why support matters, how to approach support intentionally, and what we can do — as players and as designers — when these tools fail us.
The Support Tools Compilation provides not just a list, but a foundational understanding of the philosophy of support: how to move beyond safety, and into a tabletop culture that affirms and cares for its participants wholeheartedly.
