I'm looking for some new RP partners. I'm Sammie, 29, in the GMT+1 timezone, and I'd really love to find some people interested in building long-term stories together.
I write pretty quickly, and one of my favorite parts of roleplaying is worldbuilding. Give me a rough idea and I'll happily help turn it into something bigger, whether that's fleshing out characters, relationships, politics, lore, or all those tiny details that don't always matter but somehow make a setting feel alive. At the same time, I'm perfectly happy with simpler plots too, as long as we're both contributing ideas and developing things together. However I do love to make a lore for our characters. Give me their background. Give me all the feelings.
One thing that tends to kill my motivation is when an RP starts feeling stagnant. I love partners who actively move the story forward, introduce new ideas, create problems for the characters, and help keep things interesting instead of waiting for one person to carry everything.
While I enjoy longer, more detailed RPs, I also like having other ways to interact with our characters. Things like semi-lit threads, text conversations, social media channels are always fun. Sometimes it's nice to just let the characters exist outside of the main storyline for a bit.
I'm also totally fine with having multiple plots running at the same time. So if we match well that is more then a-okay too!
A few things about me and my writing:
• 21+ only, please and only on discord • I only play OCs, and I strongly prefer RPing with other OCs as well. • I only do queer RPs. No MxF. • My characters are all male-bodied, though their pronouns vary depending on the character. • I only write in third person. • I'm not interested in plots that revolve entirely around sexual content. Those things can absolutely be part of a story, but I need actual plot and character development too. • I don't write with people who only play one specific type of character or dynamic. I like variety, different personalities, strengths, flaws, and relationships. • Communication is important to me. If a plot isn't working, if you've lost interest, or if you want to change something, just tell me. I'd rather talk about it than watch an RP slowly fade away. • I'm happy to chat OOC, but there's never any pressure. I'm here for the writing first. • I love partners who bring their own ideas to the table instead of expecting me to do all the plotting.
I’m honestly down for a lot, so here are some of the things I’ve been thinking about lately! These are definitely starting points rather than strict plots.I’d much rather take one of these and build it together than have everything decided before we even start.
Mafia: Give me a whole damn mafia family. Are our characters part of the same mafia, and what exactly are their roles? Are they from rival families? What kind of history do the families have? Who is actually in charge, who wants the position, who is secretly working against them, etc. I’m much more interested in exploring the actual mafia/world and the characters within it than doing the usual victim x gang member thing. Those tend to get boring for me pretty quickly. Give me complicated relationships, loyalties, betrayals, family drama and morally questionable decisions instead. Arranged Marriage:Two people who genuinely cannot stand each other are forced into an arranged marriage for political, family or otherwise inconvenient reasons. They don't magically fall in love immediately either. They have to actually learn how to live together, figure each other out and eventually decide whether they can make this work. Why were they forced together? What happens if they refuse? What happens when their hatred starts turning into something else? Childhood Lovers: They were inseparable as children. Maybe they were each other's first love, promised each other a future, whatever you want. Then something tragic happened and they completely lost contact. Years later, they run into each other again. But obviously, they're not the same people anymore. What happened back then? Who left? Who thought the other was dead? Did one of them blame the other? What have they been doing all these years? I want the lore. Royalty: Always. Give me kingdoms, family drama, succession problems, political marriages and people who absolutely should not be falling in love with each other. Prince x knight? Prince x royal staff member? Two princes from different kingdoms? Maybe one is the heir and the other absolutely does not want to be involved in politics. Maybe someone is secretly plotting to overthrow the entire royal family. I'm very open to whatever direction we take it. Royalty + Modern Day: What if a prince from the past somehow meets someone from the modern world? Or the modern character ends up in the past? How the hell did they get there? What happens when someone who knows nothing about modern technology suddenly has to deal with it? Or alternatively, what happens when someone from 2026 suddenly gets dropped into a world where they could genuinely change history? Supernatural:Demons, angels, vampires, gods, witches, spirits, monsters, cursed beings I'm down. We can make our own supernatural world or build something completely ridiculous from scratch. I especially love when there are rules to the supernatural side. Different species, hierarchies, contracts, powers, consequences, religions, old wars, forbidden magic, etc. Cursed Lovers: They were together once, but something happened that separated them. Maybe one of them was cursed with eternal life and has spent every lifetime waiting for their lover to be reborn. Except every time, they have to find them again. Or maybe they both died, but only one remembers their previous lives. Or maybe they were cursed to repeatedly find each other only to lose each other again. Why were they cursed? Who cursed them? Can it be broken? And what happens when they finally remember? Give me the angst.
