I am CONFUSED

So Tony left Peter the glasses. At what point did he write that into his will/make that personal request?

Peter was dead for 5 years with no foreseen hope to bring him back.

So he either willed it to Peter before infinity war, or willed it to him and when they decided to go through with the time travel plan (around when he would have recorded the video.) I still have questions though.

Mainly, how could Tony have known? One could argue he left it to him, in case that were the outcome, and it’s an easy undo if Peter wasn’t brought back and Tony didn’t die. Or if Tony did still die, they fall into the hands of Pepper, I’m sure. Maybe it was just a precaution, so EDITH would be in the right hands, if something were to happen, prior to IW, that never got changed after IW.

In any case. Are we just assuming all the billionaire left Peter was a pair of (very valuable) glasses?

I’m certainly not downplaying the importance of EDITH, and the amount of responsibility. I’m just really confused is all.

Does Peter get something else when he turns 18? And by something else I mean, a foot in on Stark industries, or some amount of money to make sure he’s well taken care of and able to have a secure home life so he can focus on being Spider-Man?

I feel like if it was in Tony’s mind to leave him the glasses, he would have also left him something to be sure he was taken care of.

Now— I totally know that Pepper will take care of Peter. That’s not even a question. On top of that Happy is there for him, still a loyal friend to Pepper, and has access to things, like the jet we see in FFH, which makes these things available to Peter as well. So maybe right now, as a kid, that’s enough for Peter?

I just have so many questions.

Having a job interview and not being able to ask if I’d be allowed to think about it, so you instead get hired on the spot, for a job you already know is not going to be good for your mental health.

Anxiety is crying because how do you now get out of this? Scared you won’t be able to because your anxiety won’t let you call, and terrified that you’ll have to start working this job that is blatantly not good for you.

Anxiety is trying to call and staring at the number for 20 minutes before locking the phone, popping one of your last Ativan pills, and writing down word for word what you want to say when you finally do call.

Anxiety is calling and praying that they don’t pick up so you don’t have to talk directly to them, and “OH THANK GOD” when they don’t so you leave a well scripted, and professional voicemail instead.

Anxiety is worrying if they will call back because your dumbass went off script and said he was more than welcome to call if he had any questions.

Anxiety is worrying that maybe I should’ve taken the job, despite knowing the position would have caused me to live in a severe state of anxiety for 8-9 hours a day, 5 days a week, because I need money...

Anxiety is then taking a job you know you physically can’t handle, because the job that was physically okay, was emotionally taxing, and the job that’s physically taxing is emotionally okay. And I have less regard for my body than my mind for god knows what reason. I’d rather pass out at work than experience a debilitating anxiety attack at work.
