I like it but it only works because she's tall and thin. It looks dowdy when you don't have the height to pull it off. Sophie has been wearing that style a lot, and it doesn't do her any favors imo.

All of them are hanger ons. They are all relevant only because of the monarchy. That's how the concept of monarchy works. Yet somehow, the left behinds think they're better off.

I don't think different styling would even make a difference because Kate wears them because they are conservative, and it goes with her 80s Diana homage that she loves. These dresses like the one from Rodarte and all of the Alessandra Rich dresses aren't supposed to be these literal conservative dresses. Alessandra Rich's entire line is described as "finding the line between playful innocence and daring subversion." Kate's style is anything but subversive.

Honestly? I've never liked Edo, I think he's an opportunist who left the mother of his child because he thought that marrying into the royal family would open up doors for him. I think he is now realized that he fucked up by getting in with the Yorks, his in laws have damaged his reputation, and I kind of doubt he cares about Bea. He's genuinely never seemed interested in her and it's only gotten worse. I genuinely hope that I'm completely wrong about him, but I just don't see them lasting long term. Unfortunately, I think Edo is going to humiliate Beatrice.

The Tindalls, yes. But I don't think they are close with Peter. The media has pushed the narrative that William and Peter are close, but I think they have just a regular cousin relationship. They don't seem to spend much time together outside of family gatherings. William skipped Peter's first wedding, and it was always reported that William was closer to Zara as Peter lived further away (he was in Hong Kong for years). The line about them super tight seems to be tabloid fodder.

I don't know why Anne didn't loan Harriet a tiara. It's odd for sure that Harriet would wear a tiara that didn't belong to the RF. I would have expected no tiara if she wasn't offered one by Anne.

If you were paying attention to the coverage in real time, you would have seen some prominent Deranger accounts initially praise the brides look then backpedal when they were reminded of their heavy critique of Meghan for the same things.

I like it. I don't usually love Emilia Wicksteads lace (I kind of hate most lace wedding dresses) but Harriet looked really nice. It was appropriate for a more mature bride.

I'm enjoying watching people who criticized Meghan be forced to backtrack on their praise of Harriet when called out for their double standard. I've even seen a few say, "But she's not marrying the Kings son!". Neither was Meghan, ya walnut.

Wickstead also backtracked on her comments about Meghan, and Meg continues to wear her designs, so obviously, there is no bad blood there.

Emilia Wickstead bridal typically uses that really heavy lace. I love most of her wedding gowns but I don't care for her lace dresses because of how heavy looking the lace is.
