I love the hat, but everything about the outfit just seems a tad...to big? Like I know that the coat fits, but it seems too large, and the hat has the same problem. I felt the same about her Trooping look on Saturday.

That's the Norwegian justice system for you. They believe in rehabilitation, not punishment. I agree with that approach for certain crimes, but Marius doesn't seem to be capable of rehabilitation. His actions paint a picture of a deeply entitled man. He was enabled for so long that he seemed genuinely shocked to be facing the consequences of his actions and made every attempt to get out out of the punishment. He will re offend. That is, if he's still around in four years when he gets out. He's clearly been self harming in jail, based on his multiple hospitalizations in recent weeks for undisclosed reasons. I forsee him using a mental breakdown to try and push for an early release or moving him to house arrest. I could see him going too far with that.

I actually find it refreshing that a young girl dresses like a kid, but I would've thought that she would wear dresses befitting a pre-teen now. But the family loves a costume, and I guess charlotte isn't getting out of that any time soon.

The fun of trooping was getting to see the entire family. When Charles first briefed the working royals only balcony, I thought it was a joke. It didn't work when they tried it during the Diamond Jubilee, and it sure as hell doesn't work now.

I love that you brought up my profession as evidence that I don't engage in public speaking, as if half of my job isn't speaking to strangers and building rapport with them so that they want to come back to me. A small portion of my job is actual skill. The rest is completely reliant on clients liking me as a person. I literally yap all day, anon. I actually used to be quite shy and awkward when I first started out. I didn't know how to talk to people. But I've been doing it for long enough where I can engage in conversation with people about literally anything that they want to talk about. That's what happens when you work on your public speaking skills. And I don't have experts giving me guidance.

Kates problem was that Meghan is well-spoken and accomplished. That made Kate look bad. Even the most staunch pro royal reporters will admit that.

Shes on a school trip. She missed National Day too. It's really too bad because they recreated Carl Gustaf and Silvias wedding photos with the new family portraits.

I like it but it only works because she's tall and thin. It looks dowdy when you don't have the height to pull it off. Sophie has been wearing that style a lot, and it doesn't do her any favors imo.

All of them are hanger ons. They are all relevant only because of the monarchy. That's how the concept of monarchy works. Yet somehow, the left behinds think they're better off.

I don't think different styling would even make a difference because Kate wears them because they are conservative, and it goes with her 80s Diana homage that she loves. These dresses like the one from Rodarte and all of the Alessandra Rich dresses aren't supposed to be these literal conservative dresses. Alessandra Rich's entire line is described as "finding the line between playful innocence and daring subversion." Kate's style is anything but subversive.

Honestly? I've never liked Edo, I think he's an opportunist who left the mother of his child because he thought that marrying into the royal family would open up doors for him. I think he is now realized that he fucked up by getting in with the Yorks, his in laws have damaged his reputation, and I kind of doubt he cares about Bea. He's genuinely never seemed interested in her and it's only gotten worse. I genuinely hope that I'm completely wrong about him, but I just don't see them lasting long term. Unfortunately, I think Edo is going to humiliate Beatrice.

The Tindalls, yes. But I don't think they are close with Peter. The media has pushed the narrative that William and Peter are close, but I think they have just a regular cousin relationship. They don't seem to spend much time together outside of family gatherings. William skipped Peter's first wedding, and it was always reported that William was closer to Zara as Peter lived further away (he was in Hong Kong for years). The line about them super tight seems to be tabloid fodder.
