The World Seemed To Burn

I’m going to take care of most if not all of my Christmas shopping on Cyber Monday. Thank god for online shopping. I love to shop, but it’s always so hectic around the holidays. Online shopping is easier and, frankly, safer. 

I got all of my yarn online. If that counts for anything. I’ll say it now though-you don’t need to get me anything. I’m totally fine when it comes to stuff.

You’re making all your Christmas presents yourself? Holy crap, that must be some talented fucking hands.

I have for the past few years, yeah. I mean it’s not a painting or anything. I just knit and crochet a lot so it makes sense to give that kind of stuff for Christmas. 

You celebrate both? Kudos to you. I still have no idea what I’m getting my mom or brother. I’ve been racking my brain all week. 

I don’t but some of the people I work with do. I still want to get them a present so I need to make sure they’re all ready by the time it starts. What kind of things do they like? Maybe something with that?

You are too good, If I got scarfs only i wouldn’t mind it. I mean you made it,  that says something over going out and always buying it.  I wish I could do something like that but I am sure I would get tied up in it.

It’s not that hard but it does take some practice to get good at it. I still have the first few projects I made and they look terrible.

You make your Christmas gifts? That’s cool and probably saves you a small fortune 

I do, yeah. Have for a while now. It saves me a lot of headache in the shops, that’s for sure.

What all are you making?

One blanket, three sets of mittens, two sets of gloves, and two scarves. 

You’re going to make them all? I could never do that I can even make  card without it looking really bad.

It’s become a bit of a game doing it, really. I’ve got to make sure I haven’t given them a scarf too many years in a row. A lot of people are getting gloves and mittens this year. 

I am no where near this organized I really need to start on my shopping because I hate the rush
