Looking through my old tumblr posts in the middle of the night brings back a lot of nostalgia.  I read back all the way to my freshman year of college & I recall a lot of what I said and meant. I can’t say that I am ashamed of my past; I’ve made a number of mistakes that made me what I am today. But I do also hope that I am not making any more mistakes like the ones from the past. I constantly remember all the guys who played me, broke my heart, made me cry, and everything in between.  I’ve guarded my heart for this long & I know that I am not afraid to be alone. All I know is that I never want to be there again. The end of high school and my entire college career has taught me that looking for love was never the answer. Having it find you is the only cure to loneliness.
