I also like the idea of showing something as a problem before it’s shown as a strength. Almost every character trait has two sides, and by showing the “bad” side first, it sets things up to not only make sense, but to also be very satisfying.
Really love when a character has a specific skill that would only be useful in very particular circumstances and then at a critical point in the narrative the circum Stances™️
WOW I forgot how Much moving house is... Like... Not just stressful but there's so much to think about? Like taking meter readings from my previous house? Registering to vote at the new address? Making sure my post gets forwarded to the new place? Throttling the estate agents to make sure the details on the new contract are actually right? Good LORD
