Andy Warhol, New York City, 1975

Andy Warhol’s Polaroids of his boyfriend Jed Johnson in the 1970s
Jed Johnson (December 30, 1948 – July 17, 1996) was an American interior designer and film director. Shortly after arriving in New York City from Sacramento with his twin brother Jay Johnson in 1968, he delivered a Western Union telegram to Andy Warhol’s new Factory. He was hired on the spot to sweep the floors and strip wood throughout the renovations. Johnson helped Warhol recover from an assassination attempt in 1968 and became his live-in boyfriend for 12 years. He edited several Warhol-produced films and directed Andy Warhol's Bad (1977). Before launching a lucrative decorating company, Johnson decorated the townhouse on the Upper East Side where he and Warhol lived with their two dachshunds, Archie and Amos. His clients included Mick Jagger, Yves Saint Laurent, and Barbra Streisand. As a passenger aboard TWA Flight 800, he was killed when the plane exploded shortly after takeoff in 1996.

“Bruce”, the mechanical shark from “Jaws”
The only reason Jaws is a good movie was that this mechanical shark broke. If the technology was better, or they had more money or time, it would have sucked. Art is accidents and problem solving under duress and poetry in the rain when a movie runs out of money, and AI will never get that.
