PRETTY LITTLE KILLER.

Ruby eyes peered around the renovated club. He remained standing, taking in his surroundings. It certainly was tropical, but something about it was…relaxing. Perhaps it was the sound of the water, or the lack of typical casino noises. Too loud and too crowded to be properly enjoyed. He took a sip of his fruity drink, liking it a lot more than he probably should.

“Certainly seems like something you’d design.” He had to admit, Rouge had good taste in interior decorating.

His ears twitched at her last comment, pulling him around to face her. “I think it’s better without the people in it.” Uncertainty struck him as he moved to sit in a different chair, becoming distracted in the material below him for a moment.  “Are you sure you want me living here?” He finally asked, looking up from the seat. “I’m–” a monster? A lunatic? A broken man? “Not exactly a good luck charm.” Perhaps that was a little less harsh on himself. He wasn’t exactly known for leaving rainbows and flowers in his wake. Actually he was more a magnet for trouble than anything. And if there was one thing he didn’t want, it was to bring a catastrophe to Rouge’s doorstep. The military was already on his ass, he didn’t need them being on Rouge’s too, considering her position.

“I don’t want to cause you any more trouble.”

   To her that sounded like a compliment, so she took it as one. If her club was a reflection of herself, it was gorgeous. After all, her fashion sense was impeccable, so her interior design must naturally match! It only made sense. If even Shadow approved of her handiwork, then she could rest easy. All that was left now was to open the doors... which by the sound of it, he wished would remain shut. Smiling coolly, the club owner took a sip of her citrusy drink & chuckled behind the straw. “If only... too bad that won’t pay the bills.”    Having the entire place all to themselves didn’t sound half bad. There comes a time when everyone needs a day of quiet. Rest assured, there may be less of those in the future. Humming softly to herself, she started to plan a way to combat that problem, when out-of-the-blue he asked such a silly question.
