so there was this guy on a camp

This makes sense contextually I swear, there are many overlaps between the two medias, like this eerie fever-dream waltz scene! Also I just wanted an excuse to draw these two in the fancy costumes here. For anyone who hasn’t seen the movie (reference photo at the end), the characters are protag and antag respectively- and are not romantic... to the dismay of David tightpants Bowie.

This is inspired by those old biblical triptych paintings. Ohhhhhh husbant.... Why is he like that. I tried to make it evident that he’s hidden from view beneath the wall and Sydney’s shadow, hopefully that comes across.
