Priests and Poltergeists

If anybody actually understands this dumb comic without the explanation, I will be so amazed. XD

Reez and Forsaken (their green grumpy friend) argue and bet a lot over history. They ask Via, but normally she’s too distracted to pay any attention until days later when she remembers their question. In this case, its the question of where Koopas came from.

Whoo! I finally finished this and can now introduce these two! 8D

Introducing Leviathan and Therizino; Via and Reez, for short. A sea dragon and “Fire Brother”, respectively, both retired veterans who happen to be roomies. They still do the occasional spy mission, but they’re no longer active combatants like Stiletto and Eerie, largely because they’re a lot older than they seem (especially Via, who could tell you what the “kingdoms” were like before Bowser came along). Via. aka “Momma Via”, gotta worry about all the kiddos, while Reez really doesn’t put up with their crap and has way too much fun asking about their, er “personal” lives.

Eerie: Actually, I can! Which is… actually one of the reasons I hang out with the Chomps instead of other Boos, because I’m not supposed to be able to, especially as a Bomb. You see, a lot of our powers come from being a ghost. But I um. It’s really hard for me to… detach from the world and stuff like I’m supposed to. If I could, then I could actually explode without the pain and shock. But! On the bright side! I can still eat stuff!

Stiletto: Like ice cream! 

Eerie: We live just outside the Capital. The Koopa Kingdom provides civilian housing to active and retired combatants. I actually live in the Chomp’s subdivision because it’s really hard to get a place as a Boo, especially since I’m awful at controlling my powers and sometimes. Um. Spontaneously combust. I actually managed to get my current place for a really great deal!

Stiletto: “My thanks, Anon! Now how to fit this into the freezer…”

Eerie: “You’re not using mine for your addiction. >BI”

Stiletto: “D8 …I’ll figure something out.”

“To be honest, since… being a ghost, things like gender don’t matter so much. When we hold onto that stuff, we can’t phase through walls, and exploding can really hurt, too. Our powers are based on being a ghost, after all. If we get too caught up on what we were like human, it’s like our abilities… catch and tear on those memories, and things can get really messy.”
