Childhood Sydney and Rose are so cute, they grew up knowing eachother because they both grew up in the church but weren't super close until they got older. Due to certain events that happened as they grew up their bond deepened and blossomed into something romantic.

Despite the sweetness of it all I wouldnt label their relationship as healthy. Even if thats what it appears to be.

Amélie let Avery fall. She couldn’t forgive him for the abuse, for throwing away the folder Robin and the orphans gave her (one of the few times she actually got angry), and for trying to sacrifice her. She didn’t push him, she just didn’t save him.

And yet, she regrets it. Once the adrenaline and shock of everything wears off and reality hits, she is overwhelmed with grief and doubt. Did she do the right thing? Maybe he could have been redeemed? Maybe he wasn’t that bad?
