Hello, everyone!

I'm happy to say after months of writing and editing, I'm confident enough to start posting my story. Here's some details!

Summary:

A player from the real world gets transported to the world of Deltarune through means they can't quite explain. But there's no time to process this before they're swept up in ecstasy at meeting their favorite character– The Lord of Screens, Mr. Ant Tenna! It's a dream come true! And our player is here to live out that dream to the fullest! 

At all costs.

Genre: Self-insert/Action/Adventure

Length: 12 chapters

POV: First person

Rating: Teen (for a few instances of stronger language)

Featuring: Tenna, Ramb (both of them play big roles in this story), and of course, the rest of the Chapter 3 Darkners! They also have parts to play, along with a few Darkner OCs (one in particular stands out).

When will I post?

Fridays after 5pm MST, starting next Friday, June 12th! If I don't post by 9pm for some reason, I'll be sure to post it before noon MST on Saturday!

As I've said in my first post, this story will have cringe, silliness, wish fulfillment, and some head-cannon. But, hey! There's some heart in there, too. So if that sounds like your thing, or maybe you're just the teensiest bit curious about how this story will go, then check back with me next week!

I'll be making a separate post to announce the first chapter with the link to it (it will be posted to AO3), as well as to present some amazing, amazing artwork I commissioned (I'm really excited for everyone to see it!). In the meantime, I'm gonna leave a link to my profile here. Who knows? I might post a one-shot every so often that might be more your cup of tea!

Hey everyone! Nice to meet you! I’m RosyBoas, and I’m making this post to request 2-3 beta readers for my Deltarune Fanfiction.

Length: 12 chapters. ~48.5K words

Current Status: Complete (currently doing a final self-edit. I’d send over the work in its entirety when it’s done)

Rating: Teen (only for a few instances of stronger language)

Warnings: ‘Author Chooses Not to use Archive Warnings’ (I plan to post this on AO3. There is only one archive warning that applies, but it’s nothing that would warrant a rating beyond Teen).

What canon characters are major players: Tenna, Ramb

Are there OCs?: Just one. And I’m not even sure if he counts because he’s an already existing Darkner Species. And if you squint, there’s a few at the end.

Will there be shipping???: Someone in this story thinks there is! And that’ll be apparent in the first chapter. Otherwise, canon ships only (e.g. Lanino/Elnina).

There will be cringe. There will be silliness. There will be wish fulfillment and some head-cannon (though my head-cannon tends to be more ‘filling in the gaps’ to questions we have not gotten the answers to yet versus ‘complete changes to the story’). If that sounds fun (or at least tolerable lol), then this story might just be for you!

Timeline: I plan to start posting the first chapter by June, so I’m hoping to have major edits done by then. Of course, it’s subject to change depending on how life and work go, ha ha, so I’m not super strict with timing here.

Format: I’m using Word, so I can share the document that way, but I’m happy to put the document into whatever format works best for editing (e.g google docs, copy-paste in DMs, email, etc.). If I get more than one beta reader, we’ll talk about what works best for all of us.

What I’m looking for:

- Grammar/spelling

- word flow/readability

- plot/logic feedback

- Etc.!
